The cliffs along the coast at Cape Leveque really are this colour. The late evening sky provides a soft, glowing light.
An unusual abstract rock pattern I came across in Hamersley Gorge, part of Karijini National Park in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
A deep, cold pool down in the bowels of Hancock Gorge. Not much sun gets down here due to the high, narrow walls of the gorge.
A small waterfall cascades down into a cold plunge pool deep inside Hancock Gorge, Karijini National Park, Western Australia.
A small whirlpool is created by running water cascading down the narrow confines of Hancock Gorge, Karijini National Park, Western Australia.
Shrouded by fog, an inuckshuk sits atop Summit Viewpoint in (22.9 mile on Salmon Glacier Road), Hyder, Alaska.

Taken at one of my favourite places in Western Australia – Karijini National Park. This magnificent spot is called Oxer Lookout. Four gorges meet here and you can feel the forces of nature which have shaped this landscape over millions of years. / The sunset was quite ‘flat’ that day but soon after the sun disappeared behind the horizon in the west, the eastern sky starts to glow in purple and yellow to orange colour – everything was over in just a few minutes.
