Last Sunday I wend down to Sculpture By The Sea at Bondi Beach. The sky was amazing. It rained all the way down in the car (at 5am) then stopped as I parked. The clouds threatened rain for the 90 min I was taking photos, but then just as I was getting ready to go, a window opened up in the clouds and beautiful golden light streamed over the sculptures. The dark threatening clouds made the perfect backdrop. This image is a 3 shot HDR image. I printed this image up and it looks great in my hall… It has become one of my favorites.

Teeming With Life – Looking east from the Cowrie Hole across the Rock Shelf to the open sea.
This very secluded cliff side on the Palos Verdes Peninsula / We had a fun trip althouh it was too overcasts for some good shots. / I tried to make with what i had. The sands of this small rocky beach were nothing but crushed shells and black stone. No true sand. And of course sediment below it from the faces of the clif (crazy lime stone) / yes there is some sea weed mixed in the hike down seen here / thats my sis and bro below on the way down
Couldn’t resist the textures and contrasts of this scene of, literally, thousands of mussels huddled together on the rocks at the Knoydart Pennisula, west coast of Scotland
I love lazy days fossicking on the beach. There should be an eighth day in every week just for this :) Cocos (keeling) Islands For enquires about canvas prints, or photographic prints larger than Redbubble options, please contact me via bubblemail

I picked you up one by one / on that cold rainy May day. Once upon a time you were jars and bottles, / each of you special in your own unique way. I packaged you safely and on the plane you went. / Some argued I should not have spent the time on that.. Co-Workers could not understand my love for this “Trash” / To me…Its no trash at all…but treasures from the Sea.
Taken in Torquay Australia….one of those lucky well timed shots…..played around with just a little bit….
Fujifilm Finepix s9600 with polarizer filter / I took this on the beach with a polarizer filter on. I think it worked only too well, because you can’t really see the water. But I like the textures and colours of the rocks and shells. /
A natural design by nature of sand and black molluscs on a rock on Dunsborough Beach WA. As-is straight from the camera / Camera: Olympus FE240 compact

Located in Plymouth, MA this harbor is home to the Mayflower ship and Plymouth Rock. Also housed in this harbor are commerical fisherman as well as tourists cruising the ocean! It’s a lovely quaint harbor for walking and imagining a time long ago when Pilgrims stepped onto the shores of the Americas and opened our future. Taken with a Canon XTI. / f/8 / 1/500 sec / ISO-100
