Felt really small kneeling behind my tripod taking this shot. It felt as though the trees were looking down on me from a great height, like I was insignificant…...I kept waiting for a big tangled branch of a foot…..all gnarled and twisted…..to come crunching down on me without a moments notice….......

I was spoiled for seascapes last week….as I am sure you will discover….tee hee! And yes Stuart…this is where I phoned you from. This was taken on the Plage De Pleuren in Brittany, France. Shot in RAW…some noise reduction and a tweak of the levels and thats it….....I have a number of shots from this area. I could have stayed in that part of Brittany for 6 months and photographed a different rocky cove every night…spoiled for choice!

Yes… I did get too close and got wet!.. Ohh the perils of photography! This photo was taken early January on a family day trip to Kilcunda (near Phillip Island).. / I Have to date sold 3 x mounted prints of this image.

This morning was a gorgeous morning to be up and about…. 5AM and I was wondering the rocks of North Narrabeen in just a T-shirt. Not a cloud in the sky, not a puff of wind, hardly a swell in sight. Not the best conditions for seascape photography, but a lovely morning to be up and about enjoying the Spring weather. Did manage to take this photo of North Narrabeen Rock Pool. Love the old textured planks around the pool.

After some weeks of devoloping this piece in my mind it finally just started to come together. As usual I went at the theme with something different in mind. What are we to say about how the divine eye sees our world or we may see the divine world in comparison to our own. This thought inspired a more surreal feel to the finished product. Grace decided she wanted to go out on her scooter today…...who am I to deny her that? Especially since I can take my camera with me and shoot this…....hope you like it!

On a recent trip to Geelong I was walking along the beachside at sunrise and there were stranded Jellyfish like this guy everywhere… Some as blue as this, others white/clear..

At sunset along the mornington peninsula

Another HDR shot from this morning….I just liked the way this tree stood on its own and was surrounded by the rocks at its base. Makes for a pleasing composition!

Fresh cherry, straw and ice in a carbonated beverage.

I really loved the rock face and it’s intense colour and texture so I had to share! This was taken near the Mornington Pier during a sunset.

There are a few small ‘waterfalls’ in Bradgate Park. This and one other I shall upload are the best two…in my humble opinion!

This shot was taken in a gorgeous place called Spoon Bay. A wonderful feeling of remoteness to it even though it’s only a 10 min hike down a track. The rocks are gorgeous (that is if you are like me and love rocks and textures). The rock is a green sandstone (haven’t seen this colour anywhere else) and the sand is a deep golden colour. I took this photo because Ioved the contrasts in colours, textures and the movement of the sea in the middle of it all. For anybody that likes Photoshop, if you are interested in how I processed this image, I did a step-by-step tutorial in my blog. You can find my blog here Enjoy / Brent

Ok….this is the last one of this series! Very many thanks to the people who have taken the time and trouble to look at these shots and comment. I have enjoyed doing them immensely. Thanks for your continued support and encouragement. It means a lot and keeps me going at times. My folio has changed sooo much since I joined up in August. I have grown as a photographer (I think anyhow) and that has been down to the help, support, friendship and inspiration I have found in this wonderful community. I have received only one negative comment in way more than 10000 views and that was from a fly-by-night member who was only around to cause trouble! More power to you lot…..more power to RB!

Went to one of my favourite places today in search if some good IR fodder…was a bit disappointed….it wasnt bright enough at the time I could go…...I will have to go backaround mid-day in the summer….I did come away with some stuff though….this is a sunrise shot….it is HDR but the tinkered with RAW was quite nice also.

I really like this one…..

Came across this stranded buoy on the rocks when doing an early morning shoot. Love love love the textures of these rocks… especially as a contrast against the sky.
