Colorful rocks strewn along a shoreline seem to seperate the remnants of the cooler seasons, with autumn leaves scattered in the foreground and melting ice on the further side. Soon spring breezes and warm sunlight will bring a fresh new season. All artwork is © Rhonda L. Hall, All Rights Reserved. Abstract of rock formation
I came upon this house as i was roaming around the backroads near Readstown, Wisconsin with my Aunt Dar (my photographic inspiration). What made this abandoned house unique in it’s own right is the circular rock formation off in one corner of the front yard. Neither of us being knowledgable with symbols we had no idea what this rock formation stood for and being an isolated house all kinds of thoughts and ideas raced thru our minds….. Taken at Buttermere in the Lake District, when I met up for the first time with friends from Red Bubble – Jason Connolly and Steve Smith. First R.B meet for me with them and I had a great day out. The water came down the mountains and across these pinky rocks and back into Lake Buttermere. With so much heavy rainfall as of late there had been plenty coming down them hills. That bridge will come in handy. Taken on a Canon EOS 450D with an 18-55mm lens.

This is St Mary’s Church near Buttermere, it’s a lovely church in beautiful surroundings. Couldn’t resist a shot of this before we set off on a 4 mile walk around Buttermere itself. Taken on a Canon EOS 450D with an 18-55 IS lens.

As we walked around Buttermere I spotted this jaw bone on the ground. Not sure what lost it but it had a handy set of teeth on it. No it’s not a serious photo to be commented on but more of – what did it come from, if I was a betting man I would probably say it was from a sheep. Taken with a Canon EOS 450D with an 18-55mm lens.
