One of these days I am going to get the kind of photo of Bryce Canyon National Park that I am always trying to capture. In four visits, I spent so much time in Zion that I arrived at Bryce as the sun was getting low. My wife and I set aside a whole day to see Bryce on our lengthy Christmas vacation this past year to find a snowed in Byrce Canyon and frigit -7F with a brisk wind, and only two viewpoints opened. Taken at Buttermere in the Lake District, when I met up for the first time with friends from Red Bubble – Jason Connolly and Steve Smith. First R.B meet for me with them and I had a great day out. As we looked back down at Buttermere the sky was giving off a lovely blue cast that was reflecting on the lake. This bench would be a lovely resting point to have a brew at. Taken with a Canon EOS D450 with 18-55mm IS Lens.

The clear blue water at Buttermere from this view was enough to make me stop and just soak it all in. This log seemed an interesting foreground, so I couldn’t resist a quick shutter release!
