Anatomy of the AT-AT / Since the Dark Side started using genetically modified walkers, they found many had to visit the Imperial Veterinary Clinic of Osteology suffering with acute pain in their hip joints. X-rays revealed their skeleton structure was just not strong enough to manoeuvre wearing those heavy boots. No amount of Cod Liver oil would ease their pain. Who dosen`t love robots? / Even if they do go on the occasional destructo-beam rampage.. I`ve been dying to get back to fun stuff, and there`s nothing more fun than getting messy with a little robot destruction.. Pencil, Illustrator, spray paint & a stick.

Lil Formers is a parody comic strip created, written, drawn, inked and coloured by me, Matt Moylan. It started off poking fun at all aspects of Hasbro’s Transformers mega-property (hence the ‘Formers’ in the title). Strips #1 to 100 are all TF-centric, but now with Strip #101 onward, I’m expanding the scope of things to cover all geeky, pop culture properties. My entry for the London Calling challenge. I found this difficult as I’ve never been to London to get a real ‘feel’ for the place, but here’s my two-cents worth: I have given a big nod towards graffiti/street art with the general style of the piece (line work, spray marks and drips) the London skyline gets a look in I couldn’t resist the CCTV camera robot (paranoid android?) with London having over 100 000 cameras throughout the city and finally I’ve included a large rain cloud in reference to the grey, overcast and generally miserable weather. I can’t decide on a colour – according to the challenge we should have one colour option for the shirt – so feel free to let me know what colour you think works best :) Detail: /
