  • A close up black and white of the limestone monolith at Currack Force…..and an odd title :-)

  • My first visit to this delightful place and I was most impressed. There was plenty of water coming over the fall as it had rained the night before. It is situated in the Yorkshire Dales not far from the Town of Settle. This is a HDR image. 3 shots at 2, 0, -2 processed in Dynamic HDR software.

  • Met up with Alan (Tall Guy) and we had a saunter up Uldale to visit Uldale Force. You can see Alan, with camera and (in typical English fashion) a brolley. We had a great time scrambling up and down the steep ravine. The weather was dull, grey and misty most of the time. I feel this captures the spirit of the day.

  • Beldi Hill, Swaledale
    by Robert Hardy

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Met up with Alan (Tall Guy) and we had a saunter around upper Swaledale near the village of Keld. We were stopped in our tracks by this lovely sight. Below the hill are the remains of an old lead mine. The track leads down to Keld.

  • Boiling Cauldron
    by Robert Hardy

    US$3.99–US$91.20

The cascade directly below Uldale Force. I wanted to capture the feeling of the water boiling up in front of me. 3 Shots -2, 0, +2 processed in dynamic HDR and tweaked in Photoshop.

  • Crackpot Falls
    by Robert Hardy

    US$3.99–US$91.20

    Swaledale

  • Taken last weekend when Tall Guy and I explored the Hardrow gorge, scrambling up, and down the steep and slippery paths. Access to the gorge is via the Bar (small fee payable) of the Green Dragon pub. The village is called Hardraw, the fall (unusually) Hardrow. It is claimed to be Englands highest waterfall. To get some scale you need to see Tall Guys photograph of me taking this shot Here

  • I think this shot looks untidy, but so does Swinnergill lead mine! The place has an air of abandonment and desolation. The fall brightens the scene a little.
