The Lake of Bled is Slovenijan most popular turistic place. Is a glacial lake in the north west part of the country and placed on the sunny side of the Julan alps .. half of hour by car distant from Italy or Austria. There are a lot of things that marks Bled .. the most obvious is the Island with an old church from the 8th century a.c. the3 finaly look the church got in the 1698. But however there are signs of spiritual and religion activity on it far away in time to the era of stone ege. / The second atraction on the lake of Bled is the castle on the high rocks (you can see it in the pic right above the church) from where there is a wanderful view and many more .. it has around 1000 years. For sure is a location to visit if you are somewhere in the middle of Europe and you are looking for a place full of natural and cultural beauty.

A pic taken in semi rain till before the night comes on the day on the valey of river Soca in Slovenija. This is a wanderful valey .. a must see if you are somewhere near the Italian Slovenian border. Here was the first world war front line.. on the left mountain were Italians and on the right Austrians. A sad story that surround this incredible emerald river.. You will see this river in next months in the Walt Disney Cronichles of Narnia II movie. Oil on Canvas 506×765. This is based on a photo by fellow redbubbler robjbez , who has kindly given his permission for me to use his amazing photo. I just couldn’t pass on this incredibly haunted face, and the idea that his lips are pursed because he’s about to say “What you looking at….”

Robert Johnson was truly the grandfather of blues. Inspiring such musicians as Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters and the Rolling Stones. His music has deeply affected my love for blues and music in general. My portrait of Robert is a small tribute to the amazing body of work he produced. Through every layer of pencil and every stroke of my hand, I tried to capture the essence of Mr. Johnson onto paper. I depicted every detail in my portrait, from the old curtain hung behind him to the design on the blanket he sits on. Each pinstripe was painstakingly reproduced as well as the weathering on his guitar. My desired end result is that you will feel like you are looking at an aged photo of Robert Johnson. I believe when you truly study this piece you will hear his music and see the richness of his character portrayed in through my pencils.
