This tee features my drawing of new star actor Robert Pattinson who plays the incredible Edward Cullen in the cult film Twilight. The drawing was originally created on heavy art paper with black ink and gray lead pencil. My Rob Pattinson portrait was super fun to draw & I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Hope ya like it too :) zoom in to see the detail :) Ill be adding new Twilight inspired designs and other nifty drawings and such over the coming weeks so stay tuned brothers and sisters! Stay creative Jynell

  • This scene is not from movie. This was in my mind while I was reading Twilight, the meadow scene. Done in Corel Painter, Photoshop with Wacom tablet.

  • SP

  • (Self Portrait) This is one of the first SP’s i produced… I wanted to see if i could incorporate water into the SP.. I had a lot of fun trying to get this shot….. A few tweaks in CS3 and Lightroom and a little cropping finished the image.

  • 5.6.09 – Taken with a Fujifilm 10mp s8100. A very bright late evening sun (around 9.30 pm) dipping down over Bowfell & Esk Pike, lighting up the valley below the Langdales, in The Lake District. I have been lucky enough to sell one of these as a poster:

  • Like a single Rose standing strong amongst a thousand weeds i stand naked and alone infront of lifes trivials and trials. Individual and beautiful in my own right i stand facing lifes path… The weeds continuously trying to destroy the rose on a daily basis…. I will dig deep, and create strong foundations and stand strong regardless of what life throws at me… No matter how naked or abused i feel i will continuously shine towards the heavan and show my petals to all with pride…..........

  • LIGHTING TIP FOR STEAM OR SMOKE

Hiya All, I have recently been asked to share this little tip regarding how i got the effect of such clear steam in my photograph “OIL BURNER” as shown….............. This is not a difficult thing to do and requires absolutely no specialized equipment other than a small LED torch or light.. I use a small bicycle light which gives off a brilliant white light with a very narrow field at reasonably close distances from the subject. Obviously the further away you move the light the wider spread of light you will recieve… Simply aim the torch or light towards the subject you wish to light (in my case it was the steam) trying not to light up anything else and you will recieve a very nice image… I shot the above image with nothing more than using a tripod, auto shot and 1/16 on the flash. The subject was i a reasonably dark room and the only lighting on the subject was from the torch which was around 10 inches away from the steam.. REMEMBER to place the light behind the steam, not infront of it.. I use the little light mainly because i find that most lights for this create to much spread therfore lightingup to much of the object which takes the impact away from the steam or smoke.. LED lights, expecially little torches etc are ideal for placing in close areas to the subject without lighting it up too much… I hope this little tip helps and if anyone has a better way then please let me know as i am always open to knew ideas and methods…. Full write up can be found in The Photographers Vault Rob ;)

  • SP Cover shot for my 2010 calendar Rob Toombs 2010 Calendar

  • Another one of my Self Portraits… This time using some of Max’s lighting tips… Two images of the same layered. One using a few tweaks, the other is as it taken with the camera….... A few extra tweaks in Lightroom finished the image..

  • Another SP this time working on lighting tips from the wonderful and insperational Max ... Taken in Auto with only a little cropping to complete the image…....

  • When i fight i fight myself.. Although i rarely win i continue to push forward… There is a great saying that says “Even if i face one million foe, i still go” and i have been pushing myself ever sinse… This image represents the many battles i have had internally as well as the strength it portrays by never giving in to the internal conflict regardless of how many times they cut.. The light on the blade represents the fact that light can be found within every dark place if one chooses to look hard enough….... This was created using one original photograph and applying four seperate layers in CS4.
