(Self Portrait) This is one of the first SP’s i produced… I wanted to see if i could incorporate water into the SP.. I had a lot of fun trying to get this shot….. A few tweaks in CS3 and Lightroom and a little cropping finished the image.

Like a single Rose standing strong amongst a thousand weeds i stand naked and alone infront of lifes trivials and trials. Individual and beautiful in my own right i stand facing lifes path… The weeds continuously trying to destroy the rose on a daily basis…. I will dig deep, and create strong foundations and stand strong regardless of what life throws at me… No matter how naked or abused i feel i will continuously shine towards the heavan and show my petals to all with pride…..........

The whole world and the stars surrounding it seem at times to be almost touchable. Almost as if they are part of me as i am them…. I know that i will one day land amongst the stars and become part of the energy that they portray….. Until then i will absorb the beauty of the world as if it was my own child…..

Another one of my Self Portraits… This time using some of Max’s lighting tips… Two images of the same layered. One using a few tweaks, the other is as it taken with the camera….... A few extra tweaks in Lightroom finished the image..

Another one of my SP’s this time using LOS to gain the shot… A little cropping etc in Lightroom and the shot was finished… What i see with my eye is not the real me, / It is an external impression of whats inside. I sometimes find it hard to ignore what my eyes see, / even though i have tried and tried. Like a rose bud that has not opened, / It takes time and patients to see it bloom. And like the bud i have yet to appear, / but if your diligent you will see me soon. So don’t take for granted that in the mirror, / as this is not the real person beneath. For i am just a shell, and tiny little glimmer, / of the real beauty that is underneath….............

Another SP from my latest shoot with Richard Grebby ... We played around with different lighting set-ups for a little while until the smoke really started to show up in the shot… Lighting was positioned at around a 45 degree angle either side of me and slightly forward to gain the result..
