  • This is my entry to the photoshop creative competition. The use of photoshop is not huge as I pretty much only composed nine original images together. But I don’t think it needs more “effects” to tell its story. This is a deconstruction and chaotic recomposition of an urban lanscape in Alexandria, Egypt. Because I see the future dynamic, urban, fast and anarchic.

  • Part of “Together Alone” portfolio. (Brisbane City.) Abstracts and Artsy Architecture Landscapes and Nature Street Tasmania

  • I saw this wonderful spectacle of one day when I was coming home from the city. Praktica LTL with SMC Takumar 35mm (I think) and Kodak Colour 400 . Abstracts and Artsy Architecture Landscapes and Nature Street Tasmania

  • The reason why I like this shot is because it’s a photo of a Sydney icon that many people have, but a view of which that hasn’t really been captured. I also like it because I really approached the taking of this shot correctly. From knowing the right lane to be in, to having all the settings in the camera properly preset, to having the right camera and lens ready. And then I got lucky – the cloud cover was just right to avoid blow-outs and just for ONCE there was enough of a break in traffic that cars didn’t get in the way. I know it’s not quite perfect but it’s pretty much exactly what I set out to photograph. this photo won first place in a Pentaxforums.com members competition on the theme Symmetry in February 2008. Woohoo!!

  • Do you want to stop? Captured with a Canon 5D and 85mm 1.8 USM prime lens. / No digital manipulations, no tricks. / I took this shot on a vulcanic mountain on the beautiful island of La Palma. / There was a road going almost all the way up to the highest mountain since there are three world-class telescopes in the Roque de Los Muchachos Observatory on La Palma (the scientists have to drive up there easily). Since it’s one of the steepest islands of the world you get these amazing views. I took this shot around 2400m above sea level. When I saw the stop sign it caught my interest immediately.
