  • Watch the Video HERE When this began / I had nothing to say / And I get lost in the nothingness inside of me / I was confused / and I let it all out to find / That I’m not the only person with these things in mind / Inside of me / but all the vacancy the words revealed / Is the only real thing that I’ve got left to feel / Nothing to lose, / just stuck hollow and alone / And the fault is my own and the fault is my own I wanna heal, I wanna feel what I thought was never real / I wanna let go of the pain I’ve held so long / Erase all the pain till it’s gone / I wanna heal, I wanna feel like I’m close to something real / I wanna find something I’ve wanted all along / Somewhere I belong And I’ve got nothing to say / I can’t believe I didn’t fall right down on my face / I was confused, / looking everywhere only to find / That it’s not the way I had imagined it all in my mind / So what am I, / what do I have but negativity / Cause I can’t justify the way everyone is looking at me / Nothing to lose, / nothing to gain, hollow and alone / And the fault is my own and the fault is my own I wanna heal, I wanna feel what I thought was never real / I wanna let go of the pain I’ve held so long / Erase all the pain till it’s gone / I wanna heal, I wanna feel like I’m close to something real / I wanna find something I’ve wanted all along / Somewhere I belong I will never know myself until I do this on my own / And I will never feel anything else until my wounds are healed / I will never be anything till I break away from me / I will break away, I’ll find myself today I wanna heal, I wanna feel what I thought was never real / I wanna let go of the pain I’ve held so long / Erase all the pain till it’s gone / I wanna heal, I wanna feel like I’m close to something real / I wanna find something I’ve wanted all along / Somewhere I belong I wanna heal, I wanna feel like I´m / Somewhere I belong / I wanna heal, I wanna feel like I´m / Somewhere I belong / Somewhere I belong Linkin Park

  • Watch the Video here Feel it falling off like clothing / Taste it rolling on your tongue / See the lights above you glowing / Oh and breathe them deep into your lungs It was always simple, not hidden hard / You’ve been pulling at the strings playing puppeteer for kings / And you’ve had enough But the search ends here / Where the night is totally clear / And your heart is fierce / So now you finally know that you control where you go / You can steer So hold this feeling like a newborn / Of freedom surging through your veins / You have opened up a new door / So bring on the wind, fire and rain It was always simple, not hidden hard / You’ve been played at a game called remembering your name / And you stuffed it up But the search ends here / Where the night is totally clear / And your heart is fierce / So now you finally know that you control where you go / You can steer ‘Cos you’ve been listening for answers / But the city screams and all your dreams go unheard But the search ends here / Where the night is totally clear / And your heart is fierce / So now you finally know that you control where you go / You can steer / Year get out of the box and step into the clear / ‘Cos now you finally know you can steer Missy Higgins

  • Early this morning I decided to drive about an hour into the Blue Mountains to go for a bit of bushwalking and to check out the lookouts around the Wentworth Falls area. / However the weather was terrible, with it basically being a whiteout with visibility down to about 20m and constant drizzling rain, so not the best weather for lookouts and photography! / I decided to head over to King’s Tableland and have a look at McMahon’s Lookout which is down the end of a 20km dirt track, however half way down the road I decided to capture the view in front of me which consisted of the road and trees disappearing into the thick mist. / I will have to head back up on a clearer day! / Photo taken with barely any post processing, just exposure, black point and levels.. / Thanks for having a look, as always comments and critiquing are most welcome.. • Lake of Two Mountains, in the village of Oka Quebec, CANADA,taken on Saturday March 21st 2009 with Nikon D40, Nikkor VR 55-200mm lens. / The tracks you see carved into the ice in the foreground are made by the cars that pass daily on the “ice bridge” from one side of the shore to the other. This ice roadway is maintained by a private company, has been 100 years in existence and no accidents have ever happened. However, the day that we were there, we noted during the afternoon that several pools of water had emerged over top the ice in some places and we presume that was the last weekend of using the passage over the lake to get to the other side. • The road to California is supposed to be paved with Gold. But these days the road to California is paved with poppies and lots of them. Even the railroad tracks are paved with poppies. This has been an amazing Spring for wild flowers here in the Northern part of California. Taken near Wheatland in Northern California with a Canon Rebel XSi with a 55-250mm lens. Yes these tracks are periodically used so I was lucky to get the shots that I did. Featured in “Happy Haven-Photography” / Featured in “Favorite 20” 50% of what I receive from sales will be donated to help military families/children during the holidays…so spend large and lets help them out!

  • My Website Bless the Broken Road I set out on a narrow way, many years ago / Hoping I would find true love along the broken road / But I got lost a time or two / Wiped my brow and kept pushing through / I couldn’t see how every sign pointed straight to you Every long lost dream led me to where you are / Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars / Pointing me on my way into your loving arms / This much I know is true That God blessed the broken road / That led me straight to you / Yes He did I think about the years I spent, just passing through / I’d like to have the time I lost, and give it back to you / But you just smile and take my hand / You’ve been there, you understand / It’s all part of a grander plan that is coming true Every long lost dream led me to where you are / Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars / Pointing me on my way into your loving arms / This much I know is true That God blessed the broken road / That led me straight to you But now I’m just rolling home into my lover’s arms / This much I know is true That God blessed the broken road / That led me straight to you That God blessed the broken road / That led me straight to you Rascall Flats
