Oil on Canvas / 24” x 36” / A slightly smaller work than it’s predecessor, this piece was more of an exercise to get back into the flow of painting after an extended absence from the medium. Some parts turned out better than I expected, while other elements I find a little disappointing. Still, it feels good to pick up a brush again after so many years of working with such an unnatural tool as a mouse and computer monitor and I have begun work on at least 10 more new pieces.
