  • The Twelve Apostles in the Port Campbell National Park, Victoria, Australia.

  • For some reason when the scene first presented itself I thought of the Song “Ventura Highway” by America, one of my all-time favourites. The weirdness off and beauty off this son is something I like to capture in my photographs. Please also visit my photoblog . Cheers Alex

  • Photosynthesis With my arms extended towards the source, the soul grows and conscience is expanded. Perhaps plants are not the only ones who are fed by the sun, the substract of photosynthesis. Contemplating and capturing sceneries like this one, is probably an equally powerful photosynthetic process that makes the earth go round each day… José Ramos

This artwork was featured in Inspired By Poetry, HALLOWEEN, and Color Me A Rainbow Won the Best Of Pink challenge Definitely a departure from my usual stuff. And colour. I had a real strong desire to go blue with this as usual, but there was something about a warm colour that made the message come across more clearly. Inspired by the last stanza of a beautiful poem called “Life” by George Herbert (1593-1633). Farewell, dear flowers, sweetly your time ye spent, / Fit, while ye lived, for smell or ornament, / And after death for cures. / I follow straight without complaints or grief, / Since if my scent be good, I care not, if / It be as short as yours. ....Stock Credits….* / Sky/Field/Road / Death / Stock copyrights remain the property of their respective owners.

  • 28cm x 20cm Watercolour using a brilliant watercolour wheel on Arches Paper, with a touch of acrylic. Letting the watercolours, once again, mingle together and then shaping a landscape painting around these vibrant colours.
