Rivet

251 creative works found

  • In collaboration with Heather Rivet This collaboration is a pretty unusual one… / I didn’t choose Heather’s best works to work with, which I usually do with my previous collabs, / here I wanted to challenge myself, so I told Heather to send me a couple of her works of which she isn’t really proud of… this is one of those (which on the contrary I believe is awesome and unique!!): ecosystem Model: my wife / PS work mainly / water effects are digitally painted using Corel Photopaint X4 Heather, I hope I did justice to your work!!

  • a collaboration with Heather Rivet her work: / lost but not forgotten / this is one of the amazing works of Heather which she thought was not really good…...again, this piece in this collaborative challenge is of Heather’s choosing….. Hope you’ll luv it Heather!!!

  • follow me as I take the road less travelled…........ Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, / And sorry I could not travel both / And be one traveler, long I stood / And looked down one as far as I could / To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, / And having perhaps the better claim / Because it was grassy and wanted wear; / Though as for that, the passing there / Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay / In leaves no step had trodden black. / Oh, I marked the first for another day! / Yet knowing how way leads on to way / I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh / Somewhere ages and ages hence: / Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, / I took the one less traveled by, / And that has made all the difference. / (c) Robert Frost Nikon D70 5 cards sold

  • Remember that house .. / when you were a child / the house that everyone thought was haunted / you know the one….we all had one… you faced your fear and entered the house on the hill *** / / A wonderful story written for my picture by:iconmahjongmonkey: I want to live in that house on a hill. / The joy I could share / With the one I love near / As we live in that house on a hill. The sun will shine through on each window sill. / We’ll dance in the kitchen / Of that house on a hill. The nights will be calm / But we don’t have to be still. / There is much to enjoy / In that house on a hill. I’ll dream happily of the present we share. / I won’t have a care as long as he’s there, / And we’re in that house on a hill. I’ll smile and sing, / All of our hopes will take wing / As we grow in that house on a hill. But I just sit and stare / At the shadows in there. / Empty window panes / And the garden that snares / My sad little house on a hill. The clouds in the sky fail in deterring / My sunny imagination. / It’s with a hopeful tear / That I turn away / From that abandoned house on the hill.
