Took this shot while working on a project near Holbrook, southern NSW, Australia. The Eastern Stone Gecko Diplodactylus vittatus is found amongst fallen timber and rock outcrops across inland Australia. It is a nocturnal species, that lives at ground level and hunts small invertebrates.

This is the view of a friends property located in the Riverina district of NSW Australia. I like this photo because it demonstrates the vastness of the country, the lack of people, buildings, noises – you could easily go days without seeing anyone out there. / A storm had just gone through the area, and the rainbow symbolises to me that there is always hope after rain… often the country needs the rain and every drop is so precious.
