found in the pretty town of Vaux en Couhe in the Poitou Charente, this “wash house” is quite a large in comparision to the ones that we normally find around our way! It was lovely very peaceful and steeped in history :) Although each Lavoir has a similar design so far each one we have seen has been very different. This was taken in Miramichi, New Brunswick. The old Ferry would transport people from “Old Ferry road” in Douglastown to Chatham until shortly after they built the Centennial bridge in 1967. Now remains burned pieces of wood and bolts. This was one of my favorite places when I was younger, I would sit and often write poems there. -Fuji S5200 *All proceeds of sales are donated to the Hope Animal Shelter Please check out my other gallery here at RedBubble, Macabrecat , for my cat photography. Something different I know but I like this place and I like what the light does to the inside on a sunny day. These girls were jogging across the river, it was a beautiful day…........people running and biking all over the bike trails and at the end of one trail there is a Dairy Queen, everybody seems to head that way even if it does defeat the purpose of staying fit huh? LOL everyone needs a little Ice cream :)
Hamelin Bay has a wooden boat ramp that I quite like.. actually to be honest I could park myself on that beach for at least 2 weeks and not run out of things to photograph.. can’t wait to come back. All comments appreciated - paul
standing by the River Clain right next to the rail tracks the view from the banks of the river was quite ordinary and then I spotted this :) Featured in Moods and Ambience 7th March ‘09 Canon eos 400d sigma lens / 1/100 seconds / f/4.5 / 149mm / ISO 400 / P programme / hand held / as is
