  • A tranquil snow-fed stream near Thredbo, in the Australian Alps.

  • A Tranquil Evening The world seemed to almost totally stop when I took this, it was a hot evening, I was sweating just about to die, but for a moment, life seemed suspended, all the hustle and bustle disappeared, and the sky went fantastic, as if the Lord above painted something which had never been seen before. For an instant, tranquility, for an instant, serenity, for an instant, the light was to die for. Look closely, take it all in, and you may notice the distant red traffic lights. The building on the left is the old boat house at Washington Park where this was shot at, built around the turn on the century 1900. These days it serves as a place for concerts for classical music, Scottish Bagpipes, and similar sorts of sounds. Examine it close and just take a deep breath. Shot info: Minolta 5D / Minolta 18-200 DT Lens / Dynatran 8180 Tripod / Singh-Ray CPL

  • I love the UP (Upper Peninsula) of Michigan in the fall. The colors are fantastic and there are lots of out-of-the-way places to shoot away from the crowds. Here I followed the Lower Carp River in Porcupine Mountains State Park and made images of maple leaves floating in quiet pools. I hope you enjoy this one with just a bit of post processing BuZZ.

  • Woke up this morning and this was the sight that greeted me….........

  • Both the grand and the intimate aspects of nature can be revealed in the expressive photograph… Both can stir enduring affirmations and discoveries… and can surely help the spectator in his search for identification… with the vast world of natural beauty and the wonder surrounding him…. ~ Ansel Adams ~

  • Husett Mill on the Norfolk Broads, England.

  • All photographs are there to remind us of what we forget… In this, as in other ways… they are the opposite of paintings… Paintings record what the painter remembers… Because each one of us forgets different things, a photo more than a painting… may change its meaning… according to who is looking at it…. / John Berger There are actually 3 levels along this portion of the McCloud River in the Shasta-Cascade region of Northern California… a Lower, Middle and Upper Falls… obviously by my caption of this shot… you are viewing Middle Falls. The hike is very scenic back to the Falls, and not overly crowded either. It was like having our own private little waterfall both times we visited this area, as we had the place literallly to ourselves….

  • ~ Tranquil Serenity ~ Today I sat listening to the quiet, basking in its / calm serenity. So undisturded in peacefulness, and / embrassed by natural tranquility. Taking in the moments of its fresh air, and / flirting with its seductiveness oh, so serene. • “Clouds on the Water, Fire Near the Sky” / Purchase a Mouse Pad of this image I happened onto this gorgeous sunrise over the White River at a time when the water was at its lowest. Linaji 2009 All things are possible if we start right now to believe that here in this moment is our POINT OF ATTRACTION / That no matter for how long or what has been going on that does not seem to work can change in an instant if we understand that everything that can ever possibly happen can only happen at this point in time. NOW That everything changes when we start to see that life is suppose to be FUN and we can allow the infinite possibilities to formulate the best path for our desires to manifest. I have never seen this more true than my own life. As everyday I soften my thinking to better feeling thoughts I experience new vista’s to guide me towards that which I am becoming and that which I desire. Today has been such an easy day full of butterfly vibrations and lovely sounds and visions and YOU! xox

  • First storm to hit the area in over 6 months, I was so excited!! Straight to my chosen spot and took hundreds of shots, just waiting for that moment. The sky was so extreme, there was no wind, no rain, just the crazy clouds, and lightning! The rain of course was close, but I managed to get this before it started to pour :) Noosa River, Noosaville, Queensland. the boat is the same subject in River Living and I was very thankful it was still for this to work.
