A lone swan by riverbank
On the 13 March 1827 Captain James Stirling’s expedition of the Swan River, Perth (Western Australia) inished in the area but was unable to venture further upstream due to lack of navigable water. The party made camp on the high bank overlooking the river. He wrote in his diary: ”...the richness of the soil, the bright foliage of the shrubs, the majesty of the surrounding trees, the abrupt and red colour banks of the river occasionally seen, and the view of the blue mountains, from which we were not far distant, made the scenery of this spot as bieutiful [sic] as anything of the kind I have ever witnessed…”
This bridge at Rotterdam crossing the River Maas is one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful bridge of the Netherlands. And where is the swan? Well, just in the centre of the pictures. “The Swan” is the popular name for this magnificent bridge. The official name is “Erasmus Bridge”.
Location Taken Hinchingbrooke Park, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. I guess a good part of this work is all about being there at that moment I simply adore this one I hope you do too !
Not too long ago I started having fun making statues in a 3d program and now through unexpected avenues, I have found them to be quite marketable so I have decided to proceed and manufacture them into actual figurines & statues. They will vary in size from small 4 inch tall pieces to magnificant 8 foot Sculptures. Some will be designed out of marble, wood, sandstone, porcelain and resin depending upon its size. Of course I will continue to sell these as prints and cards for those that wish to keep a sample and later consider an actual statue to grace their homes or business. Now pricing will vary due to materials used, and sizes. When I go into production and have more info to share I will post a Journal, or you can Bubblemail me anytime for updates.
