  • Early morning kayak exercise on the Upper Hawksbury River at Windsor, NSW.

  • Cold fall morning in the Yukon. As much as the sun looks warm, as cold as this morning was. Nature is so beautiful…

  • acrylic on canvas END OF DAYS Red sky in the morning, you’ve had your warning / the wolves are running, the end is coming See the white bird flying, he’s got a heart just like a lion / see the sun descending, on a world that fears an ending See the snake a creeping, as the children are a sleeping / there’s a tower in the middle, it’s built of death and lies and riddles Only love can set you free Sheep rushing to the fold, a remnant neither bought nor sold / a single shepherd on a rock, face all the nations for his flock see the light in motion, hits the earth just like an ocean / soon the sky unravels, stars fall down like so much gravel Look away from all your idols, this cursed earth is suicidal / lift your eyes up to the sky, see the heavens, see the heavens eye to eye only love can set you free

  • Waking up early isn’t my forté, but this magical sunrise pulled me out of bed and down to the river. The morning mists were rolling down and the water was dead calm, as if not wanting to disturb the day. The photo is cross-processed medium format velvia and retains some imperfections.

  • Top Featured Piece Of The Day in the Live, Love, Dream group, 12th Nov, 2008. / Featured in the Rivers, Lakes and Dams group, 12th Nov, 2008. Early one January morning, I got out of bed before dawn and headed in to London and the Thames. I knew where I wanted to get the shot from. I set up the tripod and camera and waited. I hoped the sun would be visible, but had nothing more to base the possibility on other than the sky had been red at sunset the night before. My luck was in!

  • In my home town there’s a church,ONE restaurant,a grocery store …oh !!! and a hardware store …..and a church,a restaur…you know all that,it’s not that I’m not proud of my small village but my real home is what’s arround it,the forest…with my dog Tchoko,of course,on a foggy morning, having a great time in the parc of the Biology Center of the University of Montreal…..summer time ….St-Hippolyte,Quebec,Canada.. /

  • Last light with a storm approaching near Mannum South Australia. Image taken at the front of the Younghusband general store. HDR conversion of three images. Whilst the River is in trouble and drought effects us every day the communities along the river deserve our support and encouragement. There is still plenty to do and see along these stretches of the river. Tourism is often their lifeblood so with our sky’s and weather at the moment its a great time to visit.

  • Early morning on the Norfolk Broads, England. The glowing sunlight on the mist up ahead, where the river narrows, makes one eager to discover what beauty lies in wait around the next bend. / /

  • A silhouette of a girl holding up the sun during a brilliant orange sunset on a river.

  • What do you call the light that permanently imprints itself into the deepest corner of your cerebral real estate? Just a memorable one, divine, sublime? The star was going down fast, as it was just a matter of ‘to get it over and done with‘ a daily sunset routine – until that moment. Like it was switched on by some all powerful hand residing somewhere in the center of a kingdom of light, the sunbeam reached across the valley, bringing all the associated attributes with it, like joy and warmth, just for a few moments, before disappearing altogether. The blue cold haze drowned the beautiful Hawkes Bay valley, but not before the last ray of sun got there first. I was standing in awe … for a while in fact, still in disbelief. Review button and LCD screen confirmed it did happen. Sweet. I’ll treasure selfishly the melody of breeze passing through the treetops, the smell of golden grass and feel of fallen leafs under my feet. Not to worry, I left something to share with you. Here it is.

Actually, who are you not to be? / You are a child of God. / Your playing small does not serve the world. / There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. / We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. / It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. / And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. / As we are liberated from our own fear, / our presence automatically liberates others.” by Marrianne Williamson ~ excerpts from Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles. • A beautiful sunrise over the River Murray near Lyrup in the Riverland of South Australia. The main river itself still flows and holds plenty of water for visitors and locals to enjoy. Even though we are in drought and the river is under stress there are still many beautiful sights to be had along the length of this lifeline. Canon 400D, 18-55 with CIR Polariser.

  • You give me rainbow butterflies / Your hand touches mine and I feel / The wisdom of oak trees line up / And we walk that lane which shines / Both of our spirits on parade Your wings are vibrating those / Colors that catch the light / My eyes are green to emeralds delight / As you listen for my lead / The one I took from our Spirits creed We make a pack of lovers bliss / That all things are possible with / One soulful kiss / That all who know us or come / Our way / Are blessed with knowing / All things are possible / Today. Linaji 2009 All things are possible if we start right now to believe that here in this moment is our POINT OF ATTRACTION / That no matter for how long or what has been going on that does not seem to work can change in an instant if we understand that everything that can ever possibly happen can only happen at this point in time. NOW That everything changes when we start to see that life is suppose to be FUN and we can allow the infinite possibilities to formulate the best path for our desires to manifest. I have never seen this more true than my own life. As everyday I soften my thinking to better feeling thoughts I experience new vista’s to guide me towards that which I am becoming and that which I desire. Today has been such an easy day full of butterfly vibrations and lovely sounds and visions and YOU! xox

  • As most of you know now, the East Coast of Australia was covered by a thick blanket of desert dust, was actually top soil, dried out by the severe drought conditions of the past several months in outback New South Wales. Thousands of tonnes of valuable top soil, out to sea. Didn’t hit the Sunshine Coast of Queensland till about 12 mid-day on the Wednesday, 23rd September, 2009. Was amazing, one minute it’s clear, then you can’t see anything about 500 metres away.. The sky was glowing orange, and the sun looked like the moon! In this shot, I managed to capture an eagle, soaring very low, as they hunted in the dusty conditions. The wind was also strong, and these beautiful birds could do their entire hunt without beating a wing! I hope you enjoy this shot, I know there is millions of shots out there of this event, and it probably will not happen again for many many years.. Canon 50D, 17mm. No filters or colour adjustment to this shot. this is as it looked, creepy! Available Large and best viewed Large!
