A Magical Phoenix, from mythology and fantasy. Also known as a Firebird. A symbol of rebirth and new beginings. ... This version has been altered to look best on black apparel.
A folding fan coming out of a gun. / This idea came about when i was thinking of those pop guns clowns often have. I have wanted to do a design that involved the Japanese folding fans for quite some time. The juxtaposition of two so very different items that are both hand held makes for an interesting design.

Phoenix, not blue for a change…
One week ago I remembered when I was a child I loved Bruce Lee movies, but I can’t recall a single one story or action… I only remember I wanted to be like him! XD All My Series: /
1 week smoke free… Whoot.. :D From Wikipedia / A phoenix is a mythical bird with a tail of beautiful gold and red plumage. It has a 500 to 1,000 year life-cycle, near the end of which it builds itself a nest of myrrh twigs that it then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix or phoenix egg arises, reborn anew to live again. The new phoenix is destined to live as long as its old self. In some stories, the new phoenix embalms the ashes of its old self in an egg made of myrrh and deposits it in the Egyptian city of Heliopolis (sun city in Greek). The bird was also said to regenerate when hurt or wounded by a foe, thus being almost immortal and invincible — it is also said that it can heal a person with a tear from its eyes and make them temporarily immune to death. The phoenix is a symbol of fire and divinity. So I’m guessing you can see my aim for this design. This is is basically how I feel in regards to not smoking.. As hard as it is ATM to not light up (LOL) I will win and allow my body to recover from the damage I’ve done to it over the many years of unintentionally destroying it. :)
So this one here is quite a colorful and busy piece! Lots of lines, lots of colors, splatters, gradients, etc. It’s meant to be kind of busy like that. Not much else to say about it, really. Did it up to make a cool and colorful design that would cover a large chunk of the shirt. So I hope you all like it!
Suns up better go get that coffee fix / toasts down buttered side to floor sticks err yeah…

Whist I now live in Melbourne, I have lived in Kuala Lumpur for a number of years. In this illustration, I have depicted it to be a city of fantastic and interesting architecture (hope you can see the details) and loads of motorways. It’s developing so quickly that for me, it’s an ever changing place… I am also trying out a different illustration style to what I normally use. Hope you like it.
