A ferris wheel in motion on a cloudy afternoon.
Long exposure of the Mighty Midway at the 2007 MN State Fair. You may purchase prints from ELBfoto
This old man was enjying looking at the birds and the sea just by the central pier in Blackpool, UK.
I saw this rusted frame of a bike on the borders of this wheat field, when I saw it it reminded me of the times I spent as a kid wheeling around my own bike with a hockey card in the spokes and the flag raised high on the back and I even had a streamer or two flapping in the wind off my handlebars. To me this old rusted frame symbolizes the wonderful experiences of a fantastic childhood full of laughter, smiles and fond memories, but time is our enemy and for many of us it fades our once cherished memories to distant glimmers that flicker by on rare occasions, and like this old rusted frame are soon forgotten and will eventually fade completely. / / This replaces a previous version of the image Lost & Found. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / /

Whirling rides at the Florida State Fair. 10 second exposure at F 22. Tripod and patience to capture ride at the top of its spin cycle, and to have the Ferris Wheel in the background stable.
Combination of two images. Edited in CS3 /
Dedicated to the original ‘Freedom Machine’, awesomely popular yet still much maligned by slaves to the internal combustion.
The KooL thing is; Eye got to do some serious rollin’ in this Bad Boy AND get paid too: nice perk for the photo session! :> But even BETTER: Breakin’ Bread with the Sweet Eat Babes —part of the entourage that came with the Ferrari; see here: http://www.redbubble.com/people/alvinsan9/art/1442754-1-sweet-eats

this was a shot where i was trying to get the impact of the clouds from behind the ferris wheel that it would make the impact of the ferris wheel better with the strong contrast of the picture, enjoy
This is the first time I’ve tried a long exposure shot seriously. My last tries were for half a second during the day time. The silhouette was a man who walked into the shot less than a second before I pressed the shutter and then, miraculously, stayed absolutely still for the 4 seconds (when I say ‘long exposure’, it wasnt THAT long…but i still wanted the wheel to have visible spokes.) and then immediately after it had finished taking, disappeared into the crowds. Weird… The photo was taken in London, at the end of the London Boat Race. This image is used as the Experimental group logo for profiles. Oh, and Jonny watched.
I took this shot at the very over priced melbourne show, i believe this to be a very classic shot and probaly looks like it has been repeated many times by many different people, this is part of a series of melbourne show. hope you enjoy…. FEATURED ON MORNINGTON PENINSULA GROUP – 23/10/2008 thank you to everyone who has viewed or commented….
This is a compilation of the car, sky and birds. I used the flood effect for the wet floor, and treated the image with Mr. Contrast to ge the dreamy effect. Finally, I used lighting effects to enhance the shadowing. Hope you like! Add me to your watch list now / My Bubblesite
Ferris wheel at local state fair.
I took this when I went up North to Barrie, Ontario to finally meet Adams grandparents. / They are wonderful people! So glad that I’m part of their family! [well…not officially….............................yet] Anyways there was a Lakeside Fair going on and I took this during sunset just after a storm [the clouds are clearing with the sun almost set] it just looked so beautiful I had to take a picture of this vintage ferris wheel. I took this while Adams mother was driving – lucky i got a good shot!!

(Image contains Luna Park, the Ferris Wheel and Waterfront). / 2. A photo of a page from a vintage 1940’s childrens book belonging to my mum. / 3. The back of an old hardboard photo.
