  • This photo was taken at the funeral of the first police officer killed while on duty in my city, Windsor, Ontario, in over 125 years. It was also the largest funeral in at least fifty years, if not longer. The officer’s children’s classes came, and as high school students we were paired up with them to watch them for the day. This was my student… I think he was ten at the time…

  • This was inspired by an online bumpersticker I saw… I reworded the phrase though and changed the random object. Might make more, depending on how well this one is recieved. More formal and honest feedback is apprecited…. I’m a big boy, I can handle it. EDIT: There’s also a new, Mid-sized version available now if this one is too big for you. You can see it right here

  • taken in May at sunrise above bowscale tarn.

  • Hey everybody…. As requested by a few, this is the reduced version of the Angry Jellyfish shirt. The design is almost the same, except I did move some text slightly so it looked centered, as it didnt before after the shrinkage. Hope this helps!! The original version can be seen here / Richards

  • A beautiful morning unfortunatly due to a dead battery in my landrover and our other car having all its locks frozen I missed most of it and only manged a couple of images. As the morning colour was allready fading fast when I arrived at this location.

  • I know some of you may have seen this before… I’m not claiming to have created the idea… but I do like it, and wanted it on a shirt. I looked around on here, didn’t find one like this yet, so I thought I’d put one up. This shirt, as the title suggests, says “Coexist” using various religious and other symbols, including the male and female symbol. The meaning behind it all is to suggest that we simply all get along, and don’t let our differences get between us.

  • Taken in St Grade Church, Ruan Minor, on the Lizard Peninsular in Cornwall, that was built in the 14c. / The sunlight was streaming through one of the stained glass windows, and left this colourful reflection on the floor, and a lovely colourful glow around the inside of the window. / This was the first time we have visited the church in all the years we have holidayed in the area. / We will certainly be visiting the church again this year. I hope you like it. / Thank you for looking. Pentax K110D. / Pentax 18-55mm Lens.

  • Taken at sunrise on a very icy morning, it was a full time job just trying to keep my filter clear. The hill is Cat Bell’s probably the most popular hiking hill in the lake district you can usually see the procession of people walking to the summit on most days, but not today at fist light!!!!. / The Island is Derwent island and has a long history, in Elizabethan times(1500) it was occupied by the German miners who lived there for there own safety I think the local land owners were none to happy about the Queen and these mining companies taking all there precious minerals. / In 1770 Joseph Pocklington purchased Derwent Island for £300, known as King Pocky he built the boat house you can see in the shape of a nonconformist chapel with bell tower, there is also a large house in the centre of the island but it obscured from view by the trees. He got his nick name for organising mock battles on the lake.

  • Seagull sitting on top of a fountain in Torquay, Devon. / It looks like he is trying to squirt everyone with water by sitting on the top of it. / Had my Sigma 70-300 on for this shot, on full zoom. / Single shot, converted into a 9 shot HDR using Dynamic Photo Hdr, and tweaked a little in CS3. Hope you like it. / Thanks for looking. Pentax K110D. / Sigma 70-300 DG Macro.

  • I was reading this magazine featuring wonderful 2d artists and I was so inspired by there beautiful freehanded work. So I went on searching on the internet for a portrait photo with lots of character and found this photo of Rolling Stones gitarist Keith Richards. So I set up his portrait with pencil and started blocking in the shadows and highlights in gray tones and usually I don’t get much futher than that because it always looks like crap but somehow I got the motivation to move on and started to add color and texture and the painting just exploded. It is turning out so well I cannot believe I did it myself. My drawing skills from way way back seem to come back to me YEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHH ;-) Odwin
