Alright / I know the whole ‘Rib-cage’ idea’s been played out, but I figured I’d do my take on it anyway. This originally started off as a test to see if it would work. Also, I know the heart’s not exactly that far to the left of the chest, but I did it like that for design’s sake.

......And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free…...
My second attempt at fractals, this time using Apophysis 3D.

See, I’m just as sweet on the inside as I am on the outside…

An extremely minimalistic shirt meant for a light colored t shirt. / The meaning behind this is basically “You Broke my Heart and Didn’t Care”. Slightly depressing, yes.
In the North of the Pilbara of Western Australia a timeless landscape simmers in the unbearable heat, line after unending line of ridges marching across the Earth’s surface… / Some of the ridges are closer together, some have joined together, wavy lines of rock and sand become one for short distances…it is in these places where the ribs of the Earth come together that water can collect and exist for a while, and where the vegetation can thrive…eucalypts, acacias and desert scrub crowd together in an effort to survive, like so many pub patrons on a hot Sunday afternoon / Outside, in the flat baking valleys only the toughest live on, determined, grim and unbowed as were the first explorers and settlers of this most beautiful of hells… / Life is hard in my Country / But Death is not an option 60×60 cm / Acrylic & inks on stretched canvas / Original for sale, my own ribs are showing, man! On DeviantART / ArtRage 2.5 and graphics tablet / Original Date: March 2008 Don’t ask me my name / Don’t ask me to look / Don’t ask who I am / Don’t ask me to stop Don’t ask why I rage / Don’t ask me for life / Don’t ask to be saved / Don’t ask to escape Don’t ask me to leave / Don’t ask me to forget / Don’t ask why I bleed / AND DON’T ASK HER NAME Don’t ask who she is / Don’t ask why she hurts / Don’t ask why I drew this / Don’t ask. Just. Don’t. And long after I drew this, I’m finally able to write down some of the description that was in my head as I painted her. / People say she’s abstract. This surprises me _ And something looked down and said “This is wrong”. And they were torn apart. And now she guards the gates of heaven for evermore, until her love is returned to her. And no angel may pass. On lighter screens, you can see the bottom edge of the wings quite starkly / – they’re supposed to nearly blend into the darkness (and my settings are right. I checked) / I discovered new ways to use ArtRage with this – the semi-transparent veils, for example, are thin lines of blur/soft palette knife. She’s waiting for you to die and try to go to heaven. Then she’ll tear your wings off and throw you back down to hell. As mentioned.. she’s a little irrational. /

Taken at Southwold Harbour 12.9. 09 There was so much to look at today when Simon and I arrived at Southwold on th search for some Lunch. The light was beautiful and it was quiet. I loved the inside of the boat and all the peeling paint work. The structure reminded me of a Rib cage. My Nursing background coming into play.
