  • What the title says..

  • Yippee! Another ribcage design! This time, without the broken heart and the cage is multi-coloured!

  • He’s always so hungry!

  • The third and final version of my ‘Eagle’ image. This version was largely created digitally based on the previous versions. The first version was adopted as a logo of sorts for local band “Your Favorite Assassin” ( yourfavoriteassassin.com ) The versions will be compiled, along with a number of other drawings, in an upcoming art book.

  • T-shirt

  • Something about the way this was shaping up reminded me of skeletons and internal organs. This is not a celebration of holiday or season; possibly of anatomy, though! Or, maybe just another look at the wonderful wacky world of anorexia, bulemia, and misguided stereotypes.

  • On DeviantART / ArtRage 2.5 and graphics tablet / Original Date: March 2008 Don’t ask me my name / Don’t ask me to look / Don’t ask who I am / Don’t ask me to stop Don’t ask why I rage / Don’t ask me for life / Don’t ask to be saved / Don’t ask to escape Don’t ask me to leave / Don’t ask me to forget / Don’t ask why I bleed / AND DON’T ASK HER NAME Don’t ask who she is / Don’t ask why she hurts / Don’t ask why I drew this / Don’t ask. Just. Don’t. And long after I drew this, I’m finally able to write down some of the description that was in my head as I painted her. / People say she’s abstract. This surprises me _ And something looked down and said “This is wrong”. And they were torn apart. And now she guards the gates of heaven for evermore, until her love is returned to her. And no angel may pass. On lighter screens, you can see the bottom edge of the wings quite starkly / – they’re supposed to nearly blend into the darkness (and my settings are right. I checked) / I discovered new ways to use ArtRage with this – the semi-transparent veils, for example, are thin lines of blur/soft palette knife. She’s waiting for you to die and try to go to heaven. Then she’ll tear your wings off and throw you back down to hell. As mentioned.. she’s a little irrational. /

  • My latest colorful abstract design.

  • remastered from an original pen & ink drawing / Copyright ©2006 Elizabeth Rose Stanton. All Rights Reserved.

  • A pseudo-self portrait. The assignment started out as a character study and turned into, well, this.

  • My entry for the ‘Sound’ comp. / If you like it, please vote for it when voting opens! ;) Image of how it should look: /

  • This is the 7th in a New Series called Harmony Park. / . / Harmony Park is a Public Park in the City of Moreland where I work. / Located in Gaffney Street, just east of Sussex Street in Coburg, it was originally my old school, Coburg Technical College. / But it was closed down by Jeff Kennet, the Victorian Premier at the time, and is now a beautifully developed Public Arena. / It was developed and is maintained by the Council, and has some of the best things to photograph in the area that I have seen for quite a while, including architecture, design, landscaping, as well as having one of the best Skateboard Parks in the Northern Suburbs. / I hope you enjoy my images in this series. / Another image from inside the outdoor eating area under the ew structure. / ( hdr x2 images. using PhotoImpact12. DynamicPhoto HDR and Picasa3 as Post Op…) ======================

  • Pain is a demanding tenant / coiled at the base of my spine / it’s up at all hours / of the night - / claws its way up / my ribcage / like a ladder / digging its talons / into my tailbone / it perches / on my Adam’s Rib / grabs me by my throat / and takes me / shakes me / wakes me up / then / breaks me down bit by bit / bone by bone banging on my skull / like a drum / pouding out its beat / in my blood / in a frenzy / that brings me to my / knees / - i hit the ground / then hit the bottle pills / or wine two, four, six, nine - its all the same / its all in the name / of drowning the pain / my troublesome tenant / (i should really raise the rent) / until it evolves / grows some gills / and it will / because you can’t kill it / and you can’t kick it out / you can only make its home / a little less hospitable for awhile Until it develops a habit / right along with you / and then, my friend, / You’re screwed.

  • What all of us have lol I think i went a bit over board with the blood splatter though lol

  • This design proves I have a solid understanding of the colours of the human skeleton.

  • From a photograph of space heater coils.
