This boat was interesting do-to it looked like it ran ashore, after taking several pictures it may have been put there on purpose?.

This picture was taken early evening from the boat of an evening cruise in Miami, Florida. There was this amazing cloud coverage that I had not seen before. A giant hole opened up in the cloud and the sun radiated through and created a silhouette of the city skyline. I adjusted the levels in PS to get the buildings black and have contrast.

I know this is another dark piece – but I’ve been working a little every day on this one during a very difficult time in my life…. / Added some texture to the final painting…..and had to step away from it a lot because it became hard for me to see after a while. Anyway – hope you like it. I had originally started to do a native american painting – - and for some reason – this is what I ended up with.

Swan Island Dahlia in Canby, Oregon. They are about 2 miles from my home and I spend most of my August there. The best part is everyone has dahlia’s and can be photographed very easily. This is a digital reinterpretation of one of my photos of the same name. This piece is rich with colors with a simple central figure staring out into the world. Is it a sad stare? Or is it a stare of content? Cow 138 evokes a contradiction of symbolism, is thought-provoking, and its interpretation is a reflection of its viewer. This piece will look best as a large canvas where the rich colors can be fully explored.
