I was thinking of Julie Langford’s dear mother as I worked on this image, and I kept thinking how we all must undergo metamorphosis as we make the transition from this world where light is exterior to the next world where the interior light of our Maker can finally show through when we shed our caterpillar casing and spread our butterfly wings in the new life.

If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! The all seeing eye – symbol of a sinister elite running the world and keeping the population in blind ignorance, turning humanity into cattle, convincing man he is the son of beasts. If you do not believe their is a sinister force overseeing this earth, with politicians and presidents as mere frontmen and pawns in their game, then it is time to open your eyes, time to look beyond what they taught you in school and away from what your righteous leaders and mass media are feeding us. / The all seeing eye is a powerful symbol of a global elite, handed down from ancient Egypt, a nation that was an abomination in the eyes of the lord, his cry to the faithful is ‘come out of Egypt’ yet as can be seen on the dollar bill and on countless apparent Christian relics and in media propaganda, the world is under the spell of Babylon and egypt. / The eye on the top of the pyramid is a great blasphemy, as Satan can only mimic the creator, so does this sign mimic God, proclaiming itself the all knowing, the all seeing, the light, and so on, it takes Christ’s place as the capstone. / The problem for believers in a conspiracy who are atheists, and there are many, is that the highest force they will ever know is a human elite, a power they know deep down will never be removed by any amount of people power or public exposure. / But believers in God know that no matter the power of a secret world order, there is a force incomprehensibly higher than them. The farthest boundaries of our knowledge and advancement are but nought to him, we can look in telescopes to the ends of the galaxies ,but to him we and all knowledge are perhaps tiny elements packed like sardines in a tin. And one day the higher being will reach down and pull back the lid of that tin. And when that sky rolls away from overhead we will be exposed to something unimaginable, something that no painter, no psychedelic drug, or Hollywood director can dare to imagine. / And for the believers in Christ, there is the certainty that he is coming back to take his rightful place, no eye on a pyramid will prevent this. A glorious and terrifying future lies ahead for this earth, and there is only one who can save you, and that is Christ. Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Or Fuckit, I’ll just scan it Six weeks I was at this one in between being really busy or not in the humour to do it. Loads of mistakes are buried in there from times when I went at it but shouldn’t have. It got pretty mucky for a finish. There are heaps of symbols in it and its a continuation of one of my earlier works / I’m glad I finished (or near finished) it and I can finally move on to something else. / The name is but a ploy to appeal to arty farty types. / But it is really about a revelation, to be truthful. Self Revelator, Gillian Welch. / “Leaving the valley and fucking out of sight / I’ll go back to Cali where I can sleep out every night / and watch the waves and move the fader. / Queen of fakes and Imitators / Times’ the revelator.” / ~ / God, what a strange time. Living in the middle of the Desert, 2006 – thought i was in love, and i guess i was. He was so often just…not there. Spent a lot of my time waiting…just waiting. / Back was hurting a lot, but the cane was only a once-in-awhile thing. So i concentrated on trying to fool myself into thinking i could have the picket-fence, the man, the kid…but all i had was my ambivalence, his absence, a teenager i couldn’t talk to anymore and a barren yard full of sun-scorched weeds. All my photos from this time, i looked a little lost. / All i wanted to find at the time was him. / But it was just me who was lost. / And he was gone, doing all his searching in the mountains of New Mexico. And i was just…gone. / Sometimes, when you lie to yourself, you get exactly what you deserve… This is where you’d find me, most evenings – looking out the back door, out at the Sandia mountains…waiting. / Haven’t been in love like that since. Hopefully, never will again…

This is watercolor on Yupo / Scripture added with Picnik. And he….. showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. Revelation 21:11
