Side shot of an awesome 1939 Ford streetrod at the 2006 Streetrod Nationals in Louisville, KY, USA. Shot hand-held on a very bright sunny day. Camera: 20D, Lens EF 24-70mm f2.8 L (Canon), 1/100sec, F5, ISO 100 @24mm focal length and also use a circular polarizing filter to cut down on some of the glare and add to the depth of the color and contrast. Shot in RAW then saved in jpeg with little changes in PS for levels and contrast.
Standing in front of this amazing piece of history was incredibly awe inspiring! The workmanship and the intricate detail is something to behold. Plays were first put on in the Theatre in March 1937, and continue to this day. Unfortunately i have not yet seen one but am looking forward to. / / . / / . / / . / / . /

These three rail carriages were parked just up from the Queenscliff station, on the Bellarine Peninsula, waiting for one of the old restored engines to take them, and some passengers on an adventure ride.

This is my granma, my dad’s mum, she died back in 1980. This photo was taken around 1918 and was in a pretty bad state. I found it at my dad’s house over the weekend and decided to try and restore it so I can buy him a restored version of it so it’s just up here for a while.. / Ohh,, and that use to be my surname!! Don’t even try and pronounce it!! LOL!! Glad to have a normal married surname now!! ;o)
I took this image of an antique watercolor. It was behind glass and had light streaks all through it. Thought I’d see if I could make it look better without the glass and frame. It was fun to work with Photo Shop on this one:-)

This piece I made after coming back from the Lakeland, Florida outpouring, this past June. I made the tree look like a hand reaching heavenward. Trees are a symbol for people. The tree in my art is in need of healing and restoration. Some of the small branches are brittle and sickly, there are no leaves, the fruit is diseased and unappealing to others, and lastly there are bugs on the trunk, indicating infestation. I think there are many people that can relate to this analogy. Trees are usually thirsty for water. This tree however is in need of healing and restoration that can only come from God Almighty. He sends His healing power through the Holy Spirit (represented by the dove, with golden flames of fire). Once the tree is restored, it will be able to drink from the Living Water of Christ. This powerful piece gives me hope, that all people have the opportunity to reach out to be restored back to health.

This old restored barn, caught my eye, since its colors stood out among the trees and shrubs. Notice that it has a metal star on the side. After doing research, it is believed that early German settlers of this area hung stars up to bring good luck. They can be found in stores and some people add them for a decorative touch. This photograph was shot with a Canon 40D in West Chester, Pennsylvania and manipulated with a watercolor effect. /
