Tenders at rest in the pale pre dawn glow. One of subjects I love to shoot most at Queenscliff, finally after many trips and years I feel like I got ‘it’ this time.
An older image..I decided to work with it a tad and to bring it back because I love it. Was Taken in Jamaica
Yes, those are my feet relaxing in Anguilla last July 2007. :) You can pretend they are someone else’s feet if you want though.

The egret is going to a place of rest in the tree. Resting is good. It’s another way to rejuvenate the body and mind. A time when the body heals its hurts. A time to reflect. This is a compilation of the egret, and tree. The landscape, sky, sun and water were generated in Photoshop. The reflections of the tree and egret were created with a reverse image, and reduced opacity. I’m not quite sure if I got the egret reflection perspective right and would appreciated your comments. / / Island Dreams Media – pencil and photoshop / Substrate – paper Dedication – to Jack during my recent holiday I had time to relax and meditate, to connect with nature….this is an expression of my impression of Tangalooma. There are dolphins there, with whom i connected daily and a lot of sealife, including birds, seastars, rays, fish…. the original drawing is gifted to Jack, a fellow artist i met on Tangalooma and now friend, who really appreciated this drawing so much, that I felt greatly encouraged….

A well earned rest, after a long ride through the waters of the Okavango. The mokoro’s take a break. / The Okavango Delta is the largest inland delta in the world. / The Okavango Delta has no outlet to the ocean, instead it empties onto the sands of the Kalahari desert. Each year some 11 cubic kilometres of water reach the delta. At any point during our ride through the delta, the water was always crystal clear. I remember looking over the side of the Mokoro down into the water, it was quite deep (approx 6-7ft) and still very clear; you could see the bottom. Taken in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. Febuary 2007.

After a trip to Venice, an interpretation of one of my photos which was taken on the Grand Canal at sunset, all the boats were being tied up for the night and life was becoming a little less hectic. BEST VIEWED LARGE Acrylics on Canvas / 8cm x 12cm 2009 A beautiful reminder of a holiday in Venice. Original shot which inspired this painting…
As per the title… I’ve had this image sitting around for a while, I made it just to see if I could. And – I found it quite relaxing. Both images used to create this taken with Sony Alpha 350, the water image using Sony 100mm Macro Lens, the sky image using Tokina 19-35mm f3.5-4.5 Lens, by me. Colour fill and photo filters added in post production. I just checked – the LARGE view is really worthwhile :)))
