  • / this is the restaurant featured in the hitchcock film the man who knew too much…...exquisite food and great entertainment…. i would recommend to anyone visiting marrakech…..

  • A playful, colourful scene of a romantic, cozy, little moon-lit trattoria with my two notorious cats.

  • Plazza San Marco, Venice about 2000 or thereabouts. Expensive coffee. Good though. Nice view from the tower and a regular shot by the tourists but then again I was one. Like being a tourist. Like coffee too.

  • Nothing too serious, Siena has just ordered her Salt n Pepper squid and the order is taking longer than expected…. We do live in the lucky country if that’s all she’s got to cry about…

  • watercolour 18” x 24” on Arches paper This is a bit of a departure from my usual realistic style. I felt inspired to loosen up a little and give this an impressionistic feel. It is a portrait of Charles Wilkins, Canadian author, at the Madhouse Restaurant in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

  • Been eating a lot of Japanese food, lately. / Viewed 1324 times! Wow!

  • The interior of one of the small rustic looking cafe / restaurants in Degraves Street, Melbourne. The lane way is crammed with cafes and restaurants, with tables and chairs packed to capacity down the centre of the lane. European influence has a lot to do with why this hidden feature of Melbourne city ended up this way. I don’t think I have ever walked down Degraves Street and seen it empty. Places like this are the reason I love living in Melbourne so much. Bit of colour blanching and lightening of contrast, all done in photoshop. Original photo slightly cropped (to remove a mac book from the view!) Title inspired by Beth Orton’s song of the same name.
