You are welcome to pass the link/direct others seeking the info, and could use words like below for example, should you want to post in your journal/groups/forums : Example/Tip: How to help others requesting formatting assistance. As we have already noticed, Redbubble dont speak the same lingo, as in, it doesnt use HTML or CSS etc, which means; we cannot use a lot of the widgets, scripts and all dem goodies out there in here. Which is ok, but sometimes i found that i wanted to promote about my other sites/projects here in my profile.. but couldnt.. till now :) / (well, I figured it out now..prob been able to for ages already..hehe) As you that may have read my previous post, i discovered more of Feedburner goodies recently. In that discovery i found a Widget that can animate your RSS feed – that doesnt use html or scripts, which means we can use it in here! I utilized the RSS Animated widget in two ways : First, i’ve been wanting to bring my journal post entry titles further UP in my profile, but cuz ive got a pretty jam packed profile on the left hand side..it forces the Journal Entries way down to the bottom end, and i dont know if people scroll that far down! LOL! So with animated rss widget from Feedburner (i chose the Email option/display) I can now place (like below for example) in the higher end of my profile, where it will ‘flash’ the most recent post (utilizing my rb journal rss feed), Hopefully giving it more attention.. the second way i used it.. / is to take the half banner size option on white background of the same Animated Widget – with feeds from my two sites, Artdictive and Webgrrl’shop – flashing the most recent posts there.. / WANT TO MAKE A QUICK ANIMATION OF YOUR ART * / for display purposes like the moving images below ? / Go to PICASION where you can Create Animated GIF online for free! Upload your pictures or grab them from Flickr or Picasa Web, make avatars or funny animations and post it to MySpace, LiveJournal, Facebook or Redubble. No need for Flash FOR THOSE WHO LIKE TO SEE STATS / At the bottom of my profile you should be able to see LIVE STATS, free service by FEEDJIT . Make sure you get the Run-Anywhere Widget (link takes you directly there) Usually they all are scripts, but this one is not and i’ve been quite happy using Feedjit services on most of my blogs for free interesting stats. See how it all looks at my profile (clickty click) Have you found tools and toys you can use in Redbubble?*

  • Humane
    by Mundy Hackett

    US$27.73

Humane treatment of animals is not something that should have to be learned or taught. / / Part of my line promoting awareness and raising funds for endangered species globally. This is also available as cards and prints. All proceeds (100%) are going to the Wildlife Conservation Society for endangered species protection. Because without these animals I would never be able to bring their beauty to you, I am going to pledge to donate 100% of all of my sales proceeds from cards and prints of the imagery in this series here on Redbubble to Wildlife Conservation Society

  • Ghosts
    by Robin Brown

    US$3.99–US$91.20

You’ve seen the film, you’ve read the book, you’ve bought the T-shirt & now you can buy the artwork too. / Yes its inspired by the film ‘End of The Line’ The message is simple enough, our Oceans will contain nothing more than Ghosts if we continue to ignore the obvious. We need to change; we need to look at what we’re doing to the global fish stocks & work out a better way to manage & sustain the resources available to us. / Also available as a T-shirt. / Like the sale sign says, when they’re gone, they’re gone!!!!! / /

Evening falls over the Australia’s southern-most mainland capital, Melbourne, home to almost 4 million people from all four corners of our earth. / / Many of Australia’s citizens, new and old, have come here to set up a new life away from wars and other hardship in their home countries. • Ghosts T
    by Robin Brown

    US$23.94

This design replaces ‘Fish Stocks’ due to the interest ‘Ghosts’ has recieved. I didn’t expect ‘Ghosts’ would generate a lot of interest to be honest, but then what do I know about art. / So now there’s two options available, you can have ‘Ghosts’ as wall art or you you can have the T-shirt or maybe even both. / Next time you go out for a meal or to the supermarket & fish is on the menu; remember to order only sustainable fish. / Ps, not all the colour options work but its your choice. / 11/06/09

I’ve recently been asked to help someone with a tutorial on using image product previews on your profile in a smaller size, and how to make and use buttons in your profile, and to be able to make the image product previews smaller. To that end, this is a tutorial that explains how to make buttons using online button generators, and how to make them show in your profile, and then how to link them to the pages or galleries you want them to display. There are three sections in the tutorial – Buttons, Product Previews, and the Link Listing at the end. The link listing contains link for quite a number of online button generators, and places where you can get free image hosting. This tutorial is written using both text and images for visual assistance, so anyone who normally has a difficult time understanding stuff in tutorials may find this useful. The tutorial is in pdf format so you can download and save it, or just view it on the internet. Buttons, Links and Image Previews – A Tutorial for Setting up Your Redbubble Profile

If, like me you’re trying to improve all the time (not always succeeding :) ) and get some exposure and success sales-wise then you may want to check out the following sites for inspiration and also ways to direct people to your portfolio on RB: Competitions and other places to submit (some of which mentioned by various people in forums and journals) – in no particular order: Design by Humans – a well regarded ‘vote to print’ site – also has some good resources like ‘realistic’ templates to use for ‘model’ images. Tee invaders – A new competition site (haven’t checked it out yet) KingStrike – A slightly different concept – People buy the rights to your design for printing Threadless – No news here – everyone knows about Threadless. As I found it’s not easy to get into!! – lots of competition. It’s a community of sorts like RB, and You can add your own blog feed in your Threadless profile (so you can point it to your own blog, or your works on RB) – submission kit also has resources for ‘model’ images Shirt.w00t – another rolling competition with different challenges TeeFury – one a day – vote etc Teextile – This is brand new, and is another ‘one a day’ site. May be a good time to get something in there… 6 dollar shirts – Currently accepting submissions (2 colour designs) Mysoti – A fairly new POD (print on demand) site similar (in some ways) to RB, but without the community. Don’t know about the quality but the I’ve sold a couple there. Full Metal Shirt – Another competition site… Uneetee – Another US-based vote and print site Emptees – An aggregator, community and blog for your own and other’s designs Rumplo – another aggregator of other people’s designs. Unfortunately they don’t accept design suggestions from RB, but if you do a little digging you might find a way… StumbleUpon – Social bookmarking – Add your bubblesite, your blog etc – some people have reported success from this. Feedburner – Syndicate and publicise your ‘feeds’. This could be your blog, your works on RB, or pretty much anything. Feedburner allows you to get stats on the feeds, publish them elsewhere, and also create all sorts of widgets for subscribing etc. I’ve started putting the ‘stay in touch’ section in my posts to see how it goes… (might post more detail on this as it’s a bit more technical) I love your t-shirt – a sort of blog but also a place to submit designs to get seen A better tomorrow – a German design competition site Spring Leap – Another competition site (haven’t really looked yet) ModernTee – Another competition site ($250 per design) oh yeah – Zazzle and Cafepress if you want to sell mouse mats ;) FFFFound – Image bookmarking blogs that you may want to look at to find the sites yourself Competeetion – This is a great place to find out about other sites and competitions going on around the web. Hide your arms – A pretty good T blog – with the most useful post about basically every other T shirt blog. (that saves me writing the rest out under here!) TCritic – Another blog – not very frequent Fashionably geek – Clothing and accessories for the ‘well-dressed geek’ The Fresh Stock – Street wear and art TeeBurb – Tee designer community, blog – integrates with Twitter RB Tee Designers Sites / Blogs Redbubble home pages – find the historical home pages here Grandia Design – Clothing and interviews with fellow RB’ers (including ME) from the excellent Grandia Design Redbubble Twitter Twibe Bubbling under the surface – Unofficial RB Blog Diesel Laws – The mightly Diesel, now with a new full stop. Damien Mason – Web Design, Illustration, Animation and Monkeys WebGrrl – Not just T-Shirts… mtths – Such cool stuff – with success on Threadless too! JemimaLovesBigTed – JLBT on Tumblr Cathie Tranent – Cathie T on Tumblr Paul McClintock – Pauk on Tumblr Other Resources Free images – Places to find images on the web – useful for that inspiration or starting point for a design. How to find images – Another good wrap up of places to source images Typographic Posters – This is a great resource for all sorts of inspiration Smashing Magazine – A fantastic resource for design, print and web. Subscribe and get inspired on a very regular basis TypeNow – Free Fonts from A-Z. Lots of stuff for your ‘parody’ Tees :) Anyone know of any more that would be of interest to RB T designers? – reply in the comments. I’ll keep adding to this when I find more… Stay in touch / / Subscribe to T-Shirt Updates / Subscribe to my T-Shirt blog | visit the blog

  • Last Stop For Petrol
    by Tipptoggy

    US$3.99–US$91.20

LAST STOP FOR PETROL This shot was taken near Muroe in rural Limerick Ireland. Obviously the new highway had done away with any local passing traffic and the business ground to a halt, leaving a rusty red Texaco pump in the “forecourt.” There’s an old Irish song about using up resources and the inevitable decay which ensues when they’ve gone, it is called called Kilcash which inspired the treatment of this picture, the opening lines of the song are : What shall we do for timber / The last of the woods is down / Kllcash the house and its glory / the bell of the house is gone Kilcash an Elizabethan manor house in the Irish towered style still exists as a protected ruin and they’ve planted forestry nearby so the woods are coming back . From the house you can see the extensive apple orchards owned by Bulmers Cider. othing added but time as they say in teh drinks ad, sans plumb!

  • Watering Hole
    by Alexander Gitlits

    US$3.99–US$91.20

  • There’s no reason for using the same letters over and over again. Sustainable typography is the ultimate in resourceful letter forms. By only using the letters C and l we can abandon the vast barren wasteland of the other 24 letters of the alphabet.

  • Looking for Shelter
    by ArtPearl

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Dwindling resources on the surface require rethinking the strategies of life, looking for other approaches, perhaps buried deep inside. / Perhaps you’ll see it as a statement about the planet, perhaps you’ll see it as a personal quest. Perhaps there are other interpretation. / Live a comment if you can- agreeing, disagreeing, applauding or criticizing :) Transparent watercolor on paper. Size approx 22×15in. / / For purchasing info of the original please mail me.

  • Vitality Aside
    by Evan Ludes

    US$4.12–US$94.24

It’s an everyday scene, but it shouldn’t be. We are way to wasteful with our resources and we really take them for granted. In this instance, some people drink half of the water (on which energy was spent to purify and package) and toss it aside on the ground, leaving only nature to clean it up. / I’m not trying to cause a stir, I’m just saying… there was a trashcan 20 feet away and some people are just too lazy to take those 10 extra steps. This is a 4 shot HDR, one of my favorite HDRs to date!

  • Shoshone Falls, Idaho (2)
    by SteveOhlsen

    US$6.65–US$152.00

Taken in the mid 1980’s, when traveling with a college choir group, these gorgeous falls were humongous. I had no idea they were so close, just next door to my home state of Utah, USA until we came upon them. I’d always thought to find large falls like this you needed to head over to Niagara, New York. These of course couldn’t compare to those, but they were grand.
