Bands of iron, forged and moulded to make a warrior’s armour. / At dawn the city’s defenders went out to meet the foe. The battle was fierce and bloody from the first. Men slew, and in their turn were slain. Finally, one warrior stood alone between the invader king and the city with all its treasures. / The dark master saw victory at hand. Metal shrieked against metal but the bands of iron held firm beneath his sword. The city’s last protector, weary though he was, summoned one final reserve of strength. / The invader king fell lifeless as his head was parted from his shoulders.

A good look at the general “Who cares, let’s party” attitude towards the Earth’s overall plight. . . Pen & Ink and Color Pencil and Photoshopped Globe
When I first saw this fractal in apophysis, my first thought was a TREE, so I began to play with it in photoshop, then I was inspired to elaborate in poetry… The Earth, our dear mother must grieve at the sight / of deaths more than plentiful – her creatures in plight Humans in dominion and oh so careless in their ways / as we seek to find riches and the wildlife dearly pays Once vast icy regions melt in warm water and air / while casualties of greed are drowning polar bears The weather, it’s changing as the animals’ tell us so / if you don’t believe them, watch the trees die, not grow When will we learn that without them we’ll die / All words and no action, just constant ‘I’ll try’ Try as you may, to ignore the damage we’ve done / If we kill what is left, they’ll be nowhere to run! The Earth, our dear mother, has grieved long enough / Let’s pull it together – UNITED – it’s really not that tough. tkrosevear 10/10/2008 / /
THIS WAS A PART OF LIFE STUDY ,OF EMOTIONS, IN NUDE FIGURE DRAWING AT THE ACADEMY OF ART IN SAN FRANCISCO
power up – Obama
As I awoke to this first day of 2009, I am grateful to the breath of life and the beating of my heart, in rhythm with all those I love, respect and honor. As a peacemaker making resolutions (decisions as future actions), I decided that a RE-Solution was more appropriate, under the circumstances. RE- meaning ANEW and solutions, meaning the solving of a problem. As the vibrational energy sets my heart afire with the light of PEACE, the ONE feeling, being and vibration I wish most for our planet and humanity, I contemplated just how to activate them. Calling forth images of PEACE, I chose 3 images: / This image of myself bathed in the light of peace and love; holding hands with all those I love, honor and respect; and, Nature thriving again and respected by all. I allowed myself to be anchored with the feelings that these images emanated. / I then wondered what these vibrations would smell like and the first thought that came to my mind was Sandalwood, a scent that always calms and grounds me. / My imagination swirled with a rainbow of colors to choose from, that also reminded me of this feeling I wish to emanate, and my personal choice was Indigo, the color that resonates with perception, thought and morality, as well as in-sight. / Choose a phrase, was what ‘popped up’ next in my mind’s eye … as I heard the Dalai Lama say, “When we feel love and kindness toward others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also develop inner happiness and peace.” / Synonomous words of Peace to enhance the frequency, choose two…tolerance and non-violence came to mind. / Music always seals the deal for my soul, so choosing a song to accompany this recipe was in order, so many to choose from and low and behold from my 300 CD player, Robert Palmer begins singing It takes every kind of People – so this will be my theme song for this vibration. / What actions or behavior can I do daily that will keep this vibration or light shining, easy answers came…continue meditating and communicating with people around the world. / Writing out these details made them more concrete, visible, touchable and my training knows that if posted around my space and read upon daily (at least for the next 21 days), it will become a regular expression of the state of being that I have chosen for my Peaceful intentions. Inspired with the help of Debbie Ford ;) What images, smell, color, phrase, synonyms, song and behavior do you wish to emanate for 2009? There were a number of scriptures my father (Tim Denny) would bring to my attention when I was a young man, this is one. I was raised knowing the importance of resolving issues. I embraced the scripture, taking serious the importance of not having unresolved issues carry on and on. Take a moment and think…do you have any unresolved issues that need to be resolved? When we sleep hopefully there will be a new day. We tend to take for granted that tomorrow will come, when in reality we never know when we will breath our last breathe. Please View Larger

Just for fun, with a little philosphical question. It doesn’t necessarily apply to any specific “thing”.
July 2008, North Caicos, it felt like 150 degrees…This woman was methodically making her way down the side of the road, as though there was no heat, just one step at a time, on her way to do her errands, looking so beautifully turned out and dignified.
