Taken at Anderson Ranch Reservoir, although the sun was not where it seems to be, this really was an illusion. I had to get out and catch this shot. I love this lake and this place. When we lived here my camera was with me at all times, even when I went down for groceries, you never knew what you might see on the way down or back up. I love it here and it will always be home for me in my heart. Exposure time 1/160 sec., / F-Stop F/4.0, Aperture Value F/2.0, ISO 64.0. Canon EOS, Rebel XT, Lens 18-55 mm.

Closing line to a Robert Frost poem Nikon D80 / Lens 18-135 / format Raw / ISO 200, f/5.3 / I used a polarizer (filter) to cut some of the sun’s glare. Post Production: I adjusted the photograph very slightly using contrast in Lightroom, and adjusted for too white (Hot spots) also in Lightroom. There was no cropping. Cropston Reservoir, illuminated some 8 miles outside the city by the light pollution from Leicester. Whilst the orange Sodium glow is visible to the naked eye at night, only with long exposures does it truly show…... / No chance of star trails whatever!
