I sold this large canvas (600mm x 800mm) to a woman who apparently walked into the restaurant I was showing at, took one look and had to have it. :)) Bliming brilliant! breast cancer survivor tshirt
Shades of pink in a swirly design make this Breast Cancer awareness t-shirt unique. A cutout of a pink ribbon is more subtle and suggestive than an actual pink ribbon, and just as effective. Check it out on all the colors of t-shirts available on redbubble – we think it looks great on the pink or the black shirts – and then wear it proudly to show your support. Makes a great gift. I am Scientist (my day job) as well as a freelance cartoonist (my night job). As a scientist, your promotions often rely on you writing scientific papers, have them peer-reviewed and published in scientific journals or conferences. But the measure of success is also to have other researchers citing your papers as a reference. This is my take on it… / Just a bit of fun to draw…

Hey, It coulda happened! If I could dream, of a better land, where all my simians walk hand in hand…
I dream in color, yes I do / My sleeping eyes enjoy the view / Subconscious mind sees every hue / Neons to pastels imbue / / Even during the darkest night / When eyes slumber after day’s sight / My dreams illuminate with light / And not just that of black and white / / I know that artists will agree / That black and white is density / Combines with colors that we see / To give us shades on color’s tree / / This fractal artwork was inspired by ongoing studies about whether we dream in color or black and white. The latest scientific study that I have read proved very interesting in it’s findings. Apparently whether we dream in color or black and white is due to cultural influences in the society that we live in. I have provided a link to the final paper on this study below, as it is quite fascinating in scope and I would encourage the curious to review it. I know that I dream in color most of the time… How about you?! / / Do We Dream in Color? – Cultural Variations and Skepticism / http://www.faculty.ucr.edu/~eschwitz/SchwitzPapers/DreamChina051031.htm / / The original is 3000×2400 pixels at 300 pixels per inch. The fractal gradient was created with ApoMap, a gradient editor commonly used with Apophysis. The fractal was created as a transparency so it could be layered over the background. The background gradient was created in Photoshop, and the post-processing of layers was also done in Photoshop. Because the original is so large and difficult to see over the internet, I have included a couple of detail cutaways below. / / / / / /

After almost a year of eradic migration patterns, this little duckling was captured to undergo further studies by a team of international scientists. Initial reports indicate that this may be THE duck that some have come to known as being named Herman. Scientists fear an imminent public outcry of his immediate release. The laboratory is being picketed by protestors, several researchers have already removed themselves of this study, fearing personal harm. Updates to follow.

Fort Myers, Florida Lover’s Key is a small group of mangrove islands located in Lee County between Ft. Myers Beach, Fl, and Bonita Beach. It’s right on the Gulf of Mexico. The islands are collectively known as Lover’s Key State Park (formerly Carl E. Johnson Park). Inland backwaters full of fish, birds, and marine life, separate the islands from each other. Boats with motors are not allowed within the Park, but motorboats are allowed in the Gulf and Bay waters surrounding the Park, and there is a boat ramp within the park. My Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, with a clock that they both owned. I have it now… / They had what could be called a “strained” relationship.
