Something different for me. I have recently been spending some time teaching myself the art of pattern creation with Illustrator and this is one of my favorites so far. see also Starflower and Fields / I’ve been thinking of writing a quick tutorial on the creation of this one as it is so simple. The Arch, one of the lasting gifts to the world by the Ancient Romans. The architectural strength of the arch is no doubt what has led to the survival of so many ruins in the eternal city of Rome. Yet the graceful lines are what this art photography is about. In the subdued colors of this picture we see the Arch of Constantine from within an arch of the Roman Colosseum.

(then) Now, I’m feeling the balance of all things good is on a little upside down, mixed up, topsy turvy curve. spending some time inside, restoring the balance, getting happy again.
