Do you like lego, lass?
after a big night out, I’m feeling the weight of one hundred and one activities (that all make me happy) done, done, and done because they needed to be done ‘now’. (then) Now, I’m feeling the balance of all things good is on a little upside down, mixed up, topsy turvy curve. spending some time inside, restoring the balance, getting happy again.
Something different for me. I have recently been spending some time teaching myself the art of pattern creation with Illustrator and this is one of my favorites so far. see also Starflower and Fields / I’ve been thinking of writing a quick tutorial on the creation of this one as it is so simple. If anyone is interested drop me a comment or Bmail and I’m sure that will motivate me. Thanks for viewing. Update I have uploaded the tutorial and it can be found Here

It’s just lips really. Thank you to my better half for lending her face for this image and another thank you to my new graphics tablet. I love you both… And, who thinks I should edit this and put it on a shirt, I was thinking of doing a series of just single sets on shirts, or all of them in this set up with the background removed…. ....your call!

the other day I did a collage of images with the fantastic Lyra pencils used at my school, over a water colour images I’ve had from TAFE (yes, about 15years ago)-finally it’s put to good use. I drew randomly, then cut the images up without looking, drew a reiki symbol on the back of each, and stuck them to small white cards. I wrote a message to each person and wouldn’t you know it-I didn’t have enough! I made over 25-but there are so many staff members I enjoyed working with, I couldn’t tell them all personally how much I appreciated their company.
Just the same as this one here.
OK: I really love pegs…..
