Allover pattern…daisy design for Textile print which also makes an interesting piece of wall art or greeting card. Created as a single painted flower in Photoshop then manipulated with a number of layers and filters and put into a repeat pattern. / Artwork from Ireland. Example of framed print: /

I couldn’t get my point and shoot to get as close as I wanted so I photoshopped the image- i took the original and expanded the picture out of the frame- basically cropping it. I also bumped up color and contrast.

Textile Design (Experimental – Photomontage / design) – Artwork from Ireland. / This started off as a photo of a single daisy vent in a concrete wall.The metal daisy vent was surrounded by a rusted rim. The photo was then brought into Photoshop where the vent with it’s rim were cropped out of the cement background and then put into a box repeat pattern. The ‘X’ motifs which were created from the rim intersections were added in afterwards for a more decorative effect. This design comes in a variety of colourways. Example of Framed Print: /
