This is about the gift that God gives to us, having new mornings to look forward to, where we can have fresh opportunities and a renewal of life. It is about hoping that the nagging of past pains will leave us alone long enough to let us succeed at future undertakings and endeavors. It is about having hopes and dreams for a bright future. It is about hoping that our friends will help us in the struggle, by giving us their understanding and support.

This story is a reminder that after loss, we must mourn for a while, but then we need to go on…in order to live life, we must renew into the future. “Even death is not permanent, for it must turn to new life…” Buddist teaching. This beautiful lady came to me through the plane of Creation. / When you have reached this stage of your process, you know you can bask in the glory of a job well done. When she enters your life, you will know the flow of movement in your life you have only ever read about before. Tetka Rhu – Artist / Brisbane, Qld, Australia Skype: tetkarhu
Time to take the mask of your self imposed creation of how things must and musn’t be. / Allow the truth of your records to flow into being and you will know the Freedom of your Journey is Here. Tetka Rhu – Artist / Brisbane, Qld, Australia
I have sought love all my life – beyond the mountains and under the seas; in the deepest darkest jungles and within the heart of earth. I have looked for my love through all of time and space… with blind eyes. I almost didn’t recognize that what I have been longing for has been in front of me the entire time. My darling… I love you. Will you spend the rest of eternity with me?

Wattle Point Windfarm at Edithburgh on the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. It is a very photographed place and it is quite awe-inspiring to stand under the huge wind turbines while they spin.

This view of the Wattle Point Windfarm was taken from the South Coast Road, which runs along the South Coast of the Yorke Peninsula. When I visit again I will try to get an image with the old house (in the far distance) much closer to the camera.
Decided to take one more image of Wattle Point Windfarm before leaving as the light was just right. I think it is the clouds that make this image interesting. I don’t think I would have posted it if the sky was just plain!
Oil on canvas. / this is a representation of friends of mine recovering after the fires in kinglake.
For me art is about communicating and connecting with people – and enjoying the beauty of the artwork. I hope the paintings captures moments of transition, hope and vibrancy, change and renewal. All the best for the new year. Clare McCarthy
“Renew” was taken in July of 2009 in Clarksburg, MD. It had just rained, and the flowers looked so happy after it stopped! (c) 2009 Jennifer L. Moore. Do not duplicate.
The original pastel and watercolor painting is 5×7”. The colors in this painting are vibrant and energetic, recalling the freshest mornings when the rising sun shines in your eyes. Although you cannot see what is on the other side of the trees in the foreground, the bright colors cast a light through the trunks. Is it a moment of hope? Of renewal? (Item #93, originally painted under maiden name Lisa Sutton)
