It’s a family business. Props to Scott Robinson for getting me thinking about how to work Boba into another shirt. And just to show you how this will look on the ladies (guys who are into star wars are usually pretty popular with the ladies…)

...where holiday romance is nothing at all. Wow, so melancholy for a valentine’s day offering! / I’m happily in love, though, I promise! This is a photograph of when I visited my Mother back in Oregon. It started raining, so we picked some of her gladiolas and brought them inside before they were bent over and the beauty was ruined. Mom held the long stem as I photographed it with the light of her window on some black cloth she found. Mom is a good helper! Canon EOS 30D DSLR Black and White version: /

My rendition Almond blossoms VAN GOGH / On January 31, 1890, Theo wrote to Vincent of the birth of his son, whom he had named Vincent Willem. Van Gogh, who was extremely close to his younger brother, immediately set about making him a painting of his favorite subject: blossoming branches against a blue sky. The gift was meant to hang over the couple’s bed. As a symbol of this new life, Vincent chose an almond tree, which blooms early in southern regions, announcing the coming spring as early as February.
