  • Yes its another Parody would you believe. This time its a combination of Parody’s which includes the World of Formula 1. Ron Dennis has stepped down as Team Principle at McLaren, I can understand why too. There’s a lot of dark corners in the F1 World & I’m sure Ron has stepped down to reduce the pressure on the team. / There’s more action goes on off the track than on the track. Motor Sport is big money & James Bond would be worked hard in the World of F1. At least working for the Government he gets some time off. / In my mind Formula 1 isn’t won on the track & its not won by computer aided design & clever engineers & boffins. Formula 1 is decided off the track & its the people with the money that decide the outcome. / If there’s one form of motor sport that needs a good shake down its formula one. Once upon a time it was largely down to the skill of the driver & the engineers. These days its down to the accountants & that’s not sport.

  • Tiny mechanics at work

  • This is an exercise in blur with PS Elements – the original photo was Nigel Mansell stationary on the grid. I’m not 100% sure of the outcome but thought I would put it up for comments. Edit – Added some radial blur to the tyres and tidied up a few edge details.

  • The Renault 8 (Renault R8 until 1964) and Renault 10 are two small family cars produced by the French vehicle manufactuer Renault in the 1960s and early 1970s. The 8 was launched in 1962, and the 10, a more upmarket version of the 8, was launched in 1965. Both ceased production and sales in France in 1971. They were produced in Bulgaria until 1970 and continued to be produced in Spain until 1976. In Romania, the 8 was produced under license between 1968 and 1971, under the name of Dacia 1100.

  • The Renault 4CV is an automobile produced by the French manufacturer Renault from August 1947 to July 1961.[1] An economical “people’s car” inspired by the Volkswagen Beetle, it was the first French car to sell over a million units. The 4CV was originally conceived and designed covertly by Renault engineers during the German occupation of France during World War II, when the manufacturer was under strict orders to design and produce only commercial and military vehicles.

  • The Renault Juvaquatre is a small family car / compact car automobile produced by the French manufacturer Renault between 1937 and 1953. It was available in both sedan and station wagon body styles; later models of the station wagon (from 1956 on) were known as the Renault Dauphinoise. The Juvaquatre was originally conceived in 1936 by Louis Renault as a small, affordable car designed to fit in the Renault range below the existing more upmarket models such as the Primaquatre or Celtaquatre. The company was focused on creating new customers who would not otherwise buy Renaults, and on appealing to the new class of lower-income consumer created by changing labor conditions and the rise of the Popular Front in France in the 1930s. The Juvaquatre was heavily inspired by the German Opel Olympia, a car which Louis Renault had been impressed by during a 1935 visit to Berlin.
