Sentimental and nostalgic. A little fairy girl in a magical place, imagining a world of hope. Quote: “You might say that I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope one day you will join us, and the world will be as one.” by John Lennon.
A display in a garden center, depicting a rocking chair on the porch of an old, derelict house
P.S had to say this well because my “bf” looked at this and automatically thought the dragon was going to eat Tatiana.. I said no they’re star gazing .. So just in case anyone else thinks that (hope not) well now you know they are best friends and just have to get away from “the world” Or someone is in a dream state remembering/reflecting …. the good times…........ 2008© Tammy Soulliere AKA Insane Reflections/InsaneVirtue

Man with his dog watching the sunset. This is my husband, after a long bike ride with our German Shepherd, they’re winding down watching the sunset and I quietly got a photo of them. I love it when it’s beauty that isn’t staged. Taken alongside Last Mountain Lake (a.k.a. “Long Lake”), south central Saskatchewan, Canada

Watercolor and India Ink on Strathmore 140 lb. cold press paper. I enjoy painting humorous little creatures and funny people in this whimsical style. I wrote about the memories behind this painting last night in a journal entry here. Here’s part of it again: “Pa” was a country man. He loved to make things with his hands and play the harmonica. He was a carpenter by trade and also built things for the grandkids. One of my fondest memories of Pa was the day he brought home a box of peeping baby chicks. I was around three or four years old but I still remember it like it was yesterday…..even the smells that came from that box. I had never seen chickens. Pa opened the box and my sister, brother and I looked inside. It was full of noisy little fluffy baby chickens! I was mesmerized at the sight! Pa planned to raise the chickens and have fresh eggs every day. He built a chicken house for them out by the garden using recycled wood and wire. All of the grandchildren visited the chicks every day and watched them grow into egg laying hens and a rooster. My favorite memory of them is the day Pa brought them home in a box. Here’s how it looks printed on canvas: Matted & framed view: /
