A song of life and love. Like me, this song’s a work in progress, but it is up here with the others on this site – as they say, letting it all hang out. One thing about Bluegrass and Country music is that the songs are songs you can relate to. If you can’t be it or do it then don’t bother singing about it. I remember my instructor in my professional writing course saying to one student, “for @#$% sake, write about the day your mother died instead of boring the hell out of the reader.” I think the same goes for music. While this song is a little rugged around the edges it meets the ‘relevant to life’ criteria. PT. (2007) © Copyright 2007, Paul Thompson
