The last remains of the old Port Willunga jetty, South Australia. Port Willunga Beach was recently named as the only Australian location in ‘Travel and Leisure’ magazine – hip travel list of emerging destinations. This is still one of my favourite locations to photograph and is only a 40 minute drive south of Adelaide. Pentax DS. / HDR (-2,0,+2) Photomatix / CS2.
Sunrise at Kingscote Kangaroo Island, over jetty remains along the foreshore. Nature, the waves and weather slowly eroding the last reminders of days past. The site can be located opposite the Hospital heading towards Reeves Point at Kingscote. HDR using photomatix. Canon 400D with polarising filter.

This image was taken @ Port Willunga at the remains of the old jetty. On a recent journey back to Port Willunga recently, I’d noticed that many of these posts had been burnt. A fun stunt at the time I suppose :( Best viewed on a black background. Images from Australia / Architecture / Images from Japan / Sunsets / Water Scenes
Remaining Imagination of a Fading Skull….Deep.
Sunset over the Coorong National Park South Australia. The remains of an old stock fence stand out now with the extremely low tides created by a lack of water to the bottom end of the mighty River Murray. Human impact slowly being devoured by nature…. Best viewed large…
Late evening, bold sky and silhouetting the remains of the old Port Willunga jetty, Port Willunga, South Australia. A favourite spot for photographers and it is rare to visit on a night without running into others with cameras!!! Canon 400D 18-55 lens with CIR Polarising filter. Converted in Photoshop CS3.

Every Rainbow has a pot of gold at it’s end. As the storm passed the rainbow came out and lined up nicely on this small building left standing in paddocks between Millicent and Kingston in the South East, (Limestone Coast) region of South Australia. Canon 400D 18-55 with CIR Polarising filter.
You guys know by now that i like to keep things simple. That’s the type of photographer i am, and i think it also says a lot about what kind of person i am. Clear…simple…minimal….no worries :)
A very simple image, less complex than my other seascapes but so striking, I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy and this has the back remains of Mordor stone washed clean Gandalfs trailing beard and the forces of Light over Darkness! – pure Bulls#8t but it works for me.
