This beautiful, peaceful animal adopted this Buddist temple as his home and as he watches over ithe temple and all who visit and live there, the resident monks care for him.. This day he had claimed the step in front of the entrance to the dinning area and couldn’t be persuaded to vacate his post. So, we all just had to step over him in order to get inside to eat our evening meal.

This is a large painting I designed to use for my Christmas Cards. They are the sisters of Faith, Promise and Hope. The cousins Elizabeth and Mary who were expecting at the same time gave birth to John the Baptist and Christ. The little girl represents the future, all generations, all people and whosoever will.
This beautiful print of Our Blessed Mother has been in my family for generations. It’s framed in an ornate carved heavy wood frame. As child growing up I remember my brothers afraid of this as her eyes seemingly follow you regardless of where you are in the room. I know this to be well over 100 years old as my mother is 70 and it had been passed down to her.
