This is a composite of about a half dozen images. The foreground is the surface of an avocado, the sky texture is a macro shot of a dirty old feather duster and the idol I found in the backstreets of Fitzroy.

Captured on an Indian Reservation in New Mexico, I have always loved 49-51 Ford Coupe’s…rare, they make one of the best Kustoms ever…and if I coulda found the owner and had a tow truck, I would have towed this all the way back home to Colorado with me! What a scene…...processed in HDR…thoughts welcomed!

This shot was taken at a place called Oradour in France. The village was the site of a Nazi massacre during WW2. Nazis believed that the village was hiding a number of people attached to the French Resistance. Historians now believe that they were at the wrong village anyway… / When the Nazis arrived, many of the men were away working. They shot the men who they found, rounded up the women and children, took them to the village church and massacred them. / When the men returned home, their families were dead. / The village is now a museum and the buildings, cars, even the property of some of the families are as they left them all those years ago. / This car belonged to one of those families. / Sadly, I have had to play with this image in Photoshop as the original is very small and blurred when resized. I am going back this year to take more pictures.
