I find sunsets very beautiful so I thought I would share my point of view! / Ohh, and yes,, I took the camera out on the board with me! Not too deep but did nearly get done by a wave.. pretty stupid, I know but I just really wanted to share this! .. The perils of photography! “Floating on Clouds” was shot in Goulds Newfoundland Canada. This is The Dory in natural light. I was talking to a friend about shooting “The Dory” and “Floating on Clouds” and how I used a polarizer to bring out the clouds on the water (as seen here) and removed it and used a flash to shoot “The Dory”. I was wondering in hindsight what I would have come up with if I had used the polarizer and flash at the same time. I know I would have given up about up to two stops with the filter which would have meant a slower shutter speed and the boat was moving, ever so slightly, so it may not have worked out? But maybe next time, live and learn!
