  • From my first wedding shoot. Actually, the couple had already hired a professional photographer, and I just tagged along getting candids such as this one. Not sure if anyone is interested in buying someone else’s wedding pictures, but I’m putting this image up for sale anyways.

  • Early mourning is so calming and peaceful. The fog that has shrouded the landscape is slowly lifting. Nature seems to be in slow motion and hush. Sit and enjoy what God has gave you. Let nature enfold completely, your whole being, completely covering you with its serenity……..Cades Cove GSMNP

  • This painting with My Spirit Guides wishes to convey understanding. There are many aspects of your life that you have not acknowledged, especially the past. There may be feelings, memories that seem to come into your mind and you do not understand the message. Spirit is all around you, waiting, asking to communicate with you, I confirm this to you. There are so many Spirits within this painting. I know however that they will reveal themselves more clearly in time. You must be patient and work towards a better understanding of yourself. There is something you have not acknowledged, due to guilt, worry or apprehension. Your sense of privacy keeps you from making contact with certain people. This is a time to surround yourself with like minded people so you can feel more relaxed and anxious free. You must now cut the bond that binds you and experience the release that you have longed for. It will free up your mind and your creativity. The past is over and there is nothing you can do to change it. The present is what you should focus on. Make time for yourself and adopt a more philosophical and spiritual approach. Your Spirit Guides wish to reveal themselves to you and send you great love and encouragement. A good exercise to do is to write everything on a piece of paper, allowing yourself to write everything that may be playing on your mind. Do not read anything as you write. When finished burn the paper and let it all go. This will lighten your burden and simplify your life. Allowing yourself to have some fun and enjoy each moment as a new inspiring experience. This painting is dedicated to Jotham – Painted with My Spirit Guides – With / Healing Thoughts And Love From The Sparrows. Music – Schubert – Serenade 24th October 2008

  • WILD & FREE / / Polar bear cubs and mum cuddle-up with each other on an ice floe. / / The sea ice is shrinking at an alarming rate, which has a huge impact for the bears as this is their main hunting ground. More and more bears are being found to have drowned while trying to find the ice, even though they can swim up to sixty miles or so! / / I hope the ice does not completely vanish and that they always have somewhere to hut! • This last weekend we took a drive over to the beautiful Northern California Coast and spent a couple of nights in the wonderful little town of Gualala. (From the web site) Some people call it gwa-LA-la, but the natives call it wa-LA-la. This comes from the Kashaya Pomo Indian phrase, “ah kha wa la lee” which means, “Where the water flows down”, which makes sense—for the river goes out to the ocean right across from the center of town, right by that big sand bar where the whales stop for lunch every year. When the site says that the whales stop for lunch every year they are not exaggerating. When we were there last year we spent the day viewing a young whale and its mother out in the bay. You could see them coming up every so often blowing air and water from their blow holes. It was amazing. This trip did not reveal any whales but we enjoyed ourselves all the same. There is a wonderful restaurant called Bones there that serves some wonderful clam chowder and some amazing ribs. A short drive north or south reveals miles and miles of beautiful coastal views. If you not been there yet…why are you waiting? http://www.gualala.com/ Taken in Gualala in Northern California with my Canon Rebel XSi with a / 55-250 mm lens. 50% of what I receive from sales will be donated to help military families/children during the holidays…so spend large and lets help them out!

  • Sutton Bank is a high vantage point at the very edge of the Hambleton Hills and the North York Moors with extensive views over the Vale of York and the Vale of Mowbray. Because of its location and high elevation, Sutton Bank is popular with gliding and flying enthusiasts. Predominant landmarks include Whitestone Cliff and Roulston Scar, the former overlooking the mysterious (and reputedly bottomless !) Lake Gormire. Close nearby are the villages of Sutton-under-Whitestonecliff, and Kilburn (famous for the White Horse of Kilburn, and Robert Thompson – the “Mouseman” of Kilburn). / Sutton Bank is one of the most spectacular inland cliffs anywhere in Britain, and carries one of the most hair-raising main roads in the country. The near vertical drop from top to bottom is around 140 metres, and crosses at least two major geological boundaries. / The Sutton Bank National Park Centre is on the western edge of the fabulous North York Moors National Park – home to the largest expanse of heather moorland in England. It provides the perfect introduction to the National Park, its people, history and wildlife. Nikon D60 / HDR in Photomatix & pp in PS CS3 / Lens: Nikkor 18-200mm / 1/160 f/9.0 ISO200
