Taken in Finland (Lapland) in Dec 2006. It was around -30C and I needed to keep taking the battery out the camera to warm it up in my glove to give it a few minutes more power. Thanks for looking (best viewed large!). Featured in Animal Photography / Featured in European Everyday Life
merry something something… from Yas and me
The same image as earlier but with lots more snow painted in and I’ve painted in Father Christmas’s arm outstretched, and footsteps through the snow. I’ve added a light effect and played around with the brightness, contrast and midtones. / Beware….....This could become an obsession.

...to all and to all a good night! Picture taken in the Swiss Alps with the Matterhorn in the horizon.
Made up from 2 of my photographs for the background and reindeer, I painted Father Christmas in green (using Corel paint brushes) because that’s what he used to wear until the Coca Cola people decided to brighten him up Lol. / I’ll probably work some more on the uncropped version of this and upload nearer that time of year.

Merry Christmas to all my dear friends..new, old and yet to be.
Yeah, well you know sometimes those crazy cat people ask me to do something weird and this time they wanted me to make Santa into a cat and have the dog as a puny reindeer. I mean, what is up with that? Anyway, I thought I’d put up some Xmas cheer in case anyone wanted some. Joy Noel.
A funny, whimsical Greeting Card – a great way to keep in touch!
Birgit the Scandanavian actress has found herself stranded on an Australian beach with her drunken reindeer.

Something a little different to spread some Christmas cheer this year… / I had so much fun bringing this little guy to life as he came together on my screen. / Keeping it simple is my new ‘thing’ so I hope you like what you see ;o)

A busy Christmas Reindeer, in festive holiday garb, stops briefly in the winter landscape as if to say “Happy Holidays” to everyone. Rendered in realistic pen-and-ink with splashes of color. I’ve also made this image available as a T-shirt – although this time of year long sleeves are probably more appropriate! / / This image is also available on an array of other products at my CafePress shop (but the cards here are much nicer!)

I shot this pic at Powderham castle in Devon, the beautiful deer was in a field so I added a bit more interest by using another photo for the background. http://images-2.redbubble.net/img/art/border:noborder/product:mounted-print/size:small/view:preview/2237076-3-reindeer.jpg / /

8×10 Graphite and Colored Pencil on Paper This poor fella was in a costume class at a recent Halloween Show. His expression was pricelss. He looked totally humiliated and a bit like he was hoping none of his buddies would see him.
