A sky image which i inverted to make it seem stormy. I love the fact that inverting a bright sunny picture can totally change the feeling of the image, in this case it is stormy and dramatic.

Storm clouds roll over the Villa Maria vinyard in the Wairau Valley, Marlborough, New Zealand. This was taken on a bicycle tour of the vineyards (good idea in theory… not so much in practice!) and luckily we just avoided the rain. The good wine definitely made up for the lack of sunshine! / Taken on a stormy spring day in October 2008 on a Nikon D50.

Once again, enjoying the autumn view at Rose Valley Lake. The sun was quickly setting and the dark clouds were gathering overhead. This image was captured handheld with a Canon EOS 10D camera through a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 Prime lens, shot at 1/20th sec. @ f/22. Your comments are always welcome! Even the debris from last December’s violent Ice Storm in New England can have artistic results. This is a fallen tree brought down by the storm which came to rest in a pond. Was sitting in my car, watching the rain come down…. small droplets hung to the window…. i decided to try and photograph them… and this was the result… i found it interesting that the orangish glow from the street light reflected in all the droplets… and each droplet had a design within it…. thanks for looking at my photographs..
