Lake Ianthe is just off highway 6 north of Harihari, between Franz Joseph Glacier and Hokitika, if you feel like taking a look yourself.

Today, the town’s lobster boats and long-liners still tie up at the wharf to unload their catch, not far from Lady Jane Franklin II, the magnificent Gordon River Cruise boat.   • This shot was taken next to Fisherman’s Wharf, in San Francisco, CA – Handheld HDR – 17mm, ISO 400, -1, 0, +1, 1/20, f16. Raw files were exported to Photomatix as TIFF 16-bit, then reimported into Lightroom and processed further for exposure, clarity, vibrance and noise reduction.

  • Lights run the length of Coffs Harbour Jetty with seats provided along the final quarter over deeper water. At night there is the opportunity to enjoy solitude and atmosphere of the sea. The jetty is primarily a wooden structure that was originally completed in 1892/3 is popular among tourists.
